     mary shuffled out of the bathroom in chuck's shirt, rubbing her eyes.

chuck hands her the hot mug of tea, and she smiles gently at him. sinking back into the bad, her legs curl up under her.

"thank you for letting me stay last night," she mumbles, watching closely as chuck fixes his tie in the mirror.

"i couldn't exactly let you go home like you were," chuck smirks a tad, glancing back at her. she giggles and sips her tea, blushing a little.

"i've got a business meeting with investors in half an hour," chuck tells her, shrugging on his jacket. "but you can stay here as long as you need."

"thanks," mary grins, standing up to hug him from behind. chuck freezes, and gulps.

his cheeks tint pink when she releases her arms, and he coughs to cover it up.

"i'll see you soon," he tells her, turning and grasping her forearms. he winks subtly, grabbing his folder and leaving through the door.

"see you," mary whispers once he's left.
