a limo pulled up slowly, next to where mary was walking. the new york sidewalk was not particularly busy, only herself and a few people running too and from work.
the window fell down as slowly as the smirk grew on chuck bass' far when he saw the girl.
"looking lovely," he comments, eyes moving from her head to toe and back again.
she sighs, hands on her hips.
"hop in," chuck rolls his eyes, opening the door.
mary grins, taking his offering hand and slumping into the plush car seat. "thank you," she moans, stretching out her legs and glaring at her heels. "i hate these things."
"i noticed," chuck laughed under his breath. "so, this is your first step into upper east life?"
her glare moves to him, and she crosses her arms. "unfortunately. it was not a choice either. i was forced."
chuck laughs genuinely, knowing it was all serena and blair. "well you look stunning."
he lifts her hands, bringing it to his mouth and kissing it tenderly, eyes not leaving hers.
