Ch. 4: Prep day

Third person POV~
Jinx and Lilian went to a near by town to get the things they needed. Their list containing many... questionable items. Scissors, knifes, a custom mask, and items presumably to do stitches. Everything thing else was just basic necessities. More toothpaste, new toothbrushes, food (lots of food), and shoes.
Lilian: maybe we should've went easy on the food... we don't even know if we will be staying
Jinx: it's better to be over prepared than underprepared. Either way we still need food for the travel. Flying in my creature form for a long time makes me hungry.
Lilian: That reminds me, how are you going to carry every thing?
Jinx: well I'm strong enough carry four bags in one arm. Plus you make it sound like I'm doing it by myself.
Lilian: IM JUST A CAT! I CANT CARRY ANYTHING WHILE FLYING!
Jinx: I know that dumbass... I'll make one of the village prisoners do it
Lilian: I know you aren't callinng ME a dumbass. Plus what makes you think that the village prisoners would help us?
Jinx: simple... I'll put their life on the line.
Lilian: 'blunt as ever...' oh yea like that would make it better.
Jinx: I don't think you understand lily...
Lilian: then please, help me understand.
Jinx: I'm not gonna tell him or her that I'm gonna eat them afterwards. I'll just tell them that I get them out of jail. It's easy to manipulate people into doing things for you. You just have to know what they want. I get a free meal, you get free organs, and he or she technically gets out of jail. We are all happy.
Lilian: that almost sends a chill down my spine... but that sounds like a plan.
Jinx hummed in agreement. They made their way back home and got ready for the tiring trip to the school.

Lilian's POV~
Jinx had went to her room to rest up for the flight. She decided that she wasn't going to take anything until she saw the room space that she might've had to stay in for the next few years. I decided to pack my scissors and some of the stitching supplies. I didn't take a lot because jinx said that she would have have to use it every time her mouth changed. I found it tedious that she had to stitch the edges of her mouth evert time she went psycho when fighting. "If it has to happen then I guess I can live with it." I said to myself as I padded into the living room in my cat form. My wings were folded neatly to my sides as I sat on the couch. I eventually started to doze off from the boredom.

Jinx's POV~
I had woke up a few hours later. Five hours to be exact. I got out of bed and stretched. I walked to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and showered. I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. Before making it to the kitchen I spotted lily curled up on the couch. She looked stressed but I didn't think anything of it. I made my way to the fridge and grabbed my favorite snack, mochi. I had made them the other day and had been saving them but today seemed like the right day to eat them. Taking one bite of the banana/Nutella mochi made me feel genuinely happy. 'Sometimes human food isn't so bad' I think to myself. As I was eating the mochi I walked to the living room where lily was and looked at the time.
1:30 p.m
We still had 30 minutes till we had to go to the school so I just sat on the couch beside lily and watched funny videos on my phone. I had sat for 20 minutes before realizing that I had ate all of the mochi I had made for myself. I sighed as I rose from the couch and walked into the kitchen. I placed my container in the sink. I went back into the living room to wake lily, but not before grabbing they spray bottle and filling it with water. I walked over to lily with an evil smirk on my face as I started to spray her with water.

Lilian's POV~
As I was sleeping I started to feel something wet on my fur. I quickly realized that I was being sprayed with water and jumped up hissing. The first thing I saw was Jinx on the floor dying of laughter with the spray bottle in her hands. I changed into my original form and I reached over to the near by book shelf, grabbing an old book and growing it at her. She dodged it in time unfortunately. She got up and straightened herself as she was trying to hold back any further giggles. "Alright I've had my fun. Hurry up and get ready, we have to leave in 6 minutes." She said as she started walking to the door. I sighed in frustration as I made my way to my bedroom. I entered the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and changed back in to my cat form. I exited the house by using my magic to open the door and closed it behind me and used a barrier spell to make sure no one could get into the house even if they broke the door down. I turned around to see Jinx in her creature form, stretching her wings. I stretched my wings as well as I walked up to her. Jinx and I are linked telepathically because of our bond and it was pretty fun at times. She looked down at me with her nightmarish eyes. She was much bigger than me when in her creature form. It made since though. She was a Kaidragon and I was a fallen angle cat. "You ready?" She asked through the link. I gave a quick nod. Then we took to the skies. She shrunk her size so she wouldn't bring us any unwanted attention from the wind she created when flying fast, but she was still bigger than me. I used an invisibility spell to make it easier to hide ourselves. After all was settled, we took off in the direction of the school.
