What was her problem? Parang lahat ng problema sa mundo hawak hawak niya.
Tumunog ang aking phone. It was Lucas, isa sa mga kabarkada ko, asking my whereabouts.
“Brad, baka nakakalimutan mong flight natin pauwi this 7pm?”
Oh yeah! Uuwi na pala ako! Why did I forget that?
“Tama ba ako?” untog sa kanya ni Lucas on the other line.
I just chuckled.
“Signs of aging ka na ata Brad. I Memo Plus mo nga yan.” at humalakhak naman ito.
“Nawala lang sa isip ko Luke.” depensa ko.
“Why? Is something bothering you?”
“Something? Hmm,.. Actually, it's not something. It's someone.”
“Nah, as expected Brad. Hindi na naman bago sa amin na bagabagabin ka ng isang babae. Tell me, who is this another hot chick babe?”
“Hot chick? Luke, she's not.”
“Hmm? What do you mean? So, she's not hot? She's cold? Tama ba ako? Hmm,.. Like a zombie brad?”
“Haha! Loko ka talaga!” But I thought of the word 'zombie'. Well, the girl, what's her name again? Oh, I forgot her name! Hey, did I even bother to ask her her name? Or did she even bother to give me her name? But why would she bother to give her name to me? Napaka taray nga nun. Parang nag menopause na. Tsk.
“Sort of. She's like a walking dead.”
“Naku Brad! Lagot tayo n'yan. Ayokong maging zombie nuh. Unless kung yang zombie na yan ay chick na chick.! I'm very willing to offer my body and soul. Come and take me baby zombeyyy!”

Ngayon, alam niyo na. Praning talaga itong si Luke. Sobrang napaka chickboy. Napakatinik sa chicks.
“Seriously Brad. Who is this zombie girl that had caught your attention? Is she worth paying your interest?”
“hmm..”
“Aba, Brad. Malalim yun ah. Mas lalong na-curious tuloy ako.”
“Never mind, Luke. Don't be. Remember, curiosity kills the cat.”
“Yun oh! Sige na nga lang. NVM for nvm. Kay fine. Haha! Just prepare now and we'll be heading to the airport in a few minutes time.”
