Everyone hadn't spoken a word to Gwendoline ever since. They had put her into coventry. They had decided that she wasn't worth talking to.
"I will never speak to Gwendoline or even look at her," said Darrell. "Shasha you better say the oath too."
"What is Coventry anyway? I've This never happened in my country before," said Shasha. "We would just ignore the bad person, but you guys are saying an oath and all. This is so official."
Everyone laughed with Shasha. She said the oath and Gwendoline just sat sulking in a corner, crying.
Why is she so popular among these girls, she thought. She just arrived this term and is already friends with everyone. But I've been here since the first form and yet I don't have a good friend. I can't even make a threesome with anyone because they just look at me in scorn and disgust.
She was sorry for herself and blamed everything on Shasha. Yet she can't see that she brought it all on her by herself.
Shasha was sorry for her and felt that she needed someone to support her and teach her what's right and what's wrong.
She said this to Darrell but she shook her head.
"No it won't work," she said. "I've tried to tell her but she's still the same."
That night, no one felt like sleeping. So they started whispering to each other.
"You know Shasha," began Sophia. "You have this natural aura that makes people talk to you."
"Huh? What makes you say that? I feel like I don't have much friends," replied Shasha.
"Well it's true," said Sophia. "Remember that first former in chess club? And that other first former in sewing class?"
Both Shasha and Sophia had joined the chess club and sewing class. They both share the same interest so they joined the same clubs.
"I must seem like a first-former-attracter," said Shasha. "That girl in sewing class told me this when you weren't feeling so well 'Oh it's so fun talking to you! We share a ton in common!' and slapped me on my shoulder. I rubbed it and told her that it was painful. She said that I have too much fat! Just because she plays a lot of lacrosse and is playing for the team, that doesn't mean that everyone is as fit as a fiddle like her!"
"Ahahahaha!" laughed Sophia.
"Oi! Lights out," said Mary-Lou. "I'm the head, remember?"
"Oh yeah! Sorry," said the girls and turned to sleep.
