It was two years later dead winter. I was sitting against a tree waist deep in freezing snow sleet stinging my eyes. I was cold and couldnt move. My hands were blue and I had no jacket, i wore black t-shirt and holy jeans. I sat there staring off at a bench but not really seeing it. When out of the sleet came a bautiful woman dressed warm. She had short curly blond hair and bright blue eyes. She had a beauty mark just above the left side of her top lip. She leaned down and wraped an arm around my waist and out my arm across her shoulders dragging me to her car.
She drove me to her home and drug me upstairs tucking me into a large bed with twelve covers and a warm fire going. She lied next to her grabbed my hands blowing on them and rubbing them gently. After a few hours I was warm enough to get some sleep. I woke up the next morning feeling warm but in pain from being so stiff for so long. I sat up and looked at the cracklingfire then cringed and fell back. Just then she ran in and caught my head in her hands and lied me down. "Can you speak yet?" She asked me putting a mug of hot chocolate on the side table and sitt'ing next to me.
"I....Yeah." I said looking up at her beautiful sea blue eyes.
"Oh thats good I was worried you would be paralized." She smiled and sat me up giving me sips of hot chocolate to warm me though and through. After the mug was empty she smiles. "I have a hot bath running for you can you stand?" She asked standing up and moving the covers off of me.
I stood but my knees buckled and i plopped back down on the bed. "Guess not." I muttered.
"Well thats alright i'll help you." She smiles then pulled back. "If thats ok." She said.
"Its fine." She helped me into the tub and let me finish by the time I was done I could stand so I dried off and got dressed in dry cloths before walking downstairs.
"I never caught your name." I said smiling as i sat down next to her facing her on the couch.
She smiles shyly. "My names Loralie." She said. "Whats yours?" She asked. She had a higher pitched voice but gentle.
"I'm Pheonix." I said smiling back.
"Oh thats a lovely name!" She said excitedly. "If you dont mind me asking...Why were you out in the snow and not somewhere warm?"
"I had nowhere to go...." I said looking down.
"Are you homless?" She questioned concerned.
"Yes." I explained my whole story to her. I felt like I could trust her, she listened to me...and she seemed to genuinly care about what happened to me or she would have left me to die. Maybe, just maybe i'll be able to keep somebody I love for a change.
