Me and Loreli have been together for three years going steady. We were deeply in love and I knew if I proposed she would most likely say yes. So I reserved us a table at a fancy resteraunt in town and took a chance by buying a wedding ring and planned to propose over dinner.

later that night i drove her to the resteraunt and as she used the bathroom I slipped the ring in her wine glass. Once she got back we toasted and she took a sip of her wine as the wedding ring touched her lips she looked surprised. She fished the ring out with her fork and  gasped as she saw what it was. I smiled and walked to her side taking the ring and her hands and got down on one knee. "Loreli Annalee Miller will you honor me by becoming my wife? Will you marry me?" I asked a aw's filled the room followed by everybody chanting for her to say yes.

Tears filled her eyes and she sat there looking down at me then the ring then the crowd for what felt like an eternity. Then she smiled. "Yes!!!" she shouted jumping into my arms and kissing me. I kissed her back. We finished our meal and headed home for the night. The next morning I woke up with Loreli by my side and her kissing me awake. "Goodmorning my wonderful Fiancee." She whispered smiling. "Can we start wedding shopping today?" She asked eagerly. "Of course we can love." I said standing up and getting dressed. She did the same and we drove to a small shop in town full of wedding stuff.

We walked down an isle and Loreli stopped at bride and groom glasses. "Oh these are simply devine!" She squealed picking up two crystal glasses. The basses were silver and as it reached the base of the cup there were hearts intertwined in each other. I picked them up and put them in the cart knowing she wanted them. She smiled at me and moved onto cake toppers. I looked at one of a bride dragging the groom back by his ear and laughed. She picked up a topper that was a bride and groom ring one inside the other. "This one?" She asked looking at me and admiring the topper. "Anything you want." I said setting it carfully in the cart.

She stopped me as I started walking. "I would feel a lot better if you would pick something." She insisted taking the cart from me. "Alright I will." I started looking. I picked up diamonds in the shape of flowers a set olive green and a set white. I grabbed a good 30 of those and 30 vases. "These for the tables." I said putting them in the cart. "Beautiful!" She smiled picking up the flower shaped diamonds.

The rest of our evening clear up till two in the morning was filled with wedding shopping guest lists and  food as well as table arrangments a tons of phone calls. I was happy to be marrying the love of my live, but let  me tell you for the first time since I ran away I was scared to death.
