Their Brown Eyes

I just look into his eyes and I can feel his soul. Josh has opened my door and was talking to me not even noticing that I was sucked into his eyes. "What are you doing out here?" his voice was soft and I can feel the concern dripping out of every word. "I didn't want to cause any issues so I decided to come out to my car to cool off and give you guys time to record." I looked down at him slightly because I haven't gotten out of my car. He just sweetly grabs my hand and looks up at me "No. You are more than welcome to come in with me and watch us, but that is if you want to." I smile down at him and hop out of my car locking it. He slightly walks ahead of me opening the door for me as we walk into the studio lobby. I follow him into the recording area and see that Jake was in a different mindset and the room was a lot less tense. Nicole pats the chair next to her and gestures for me to hurry up and sit next to her. "Hey what is wrong with you?" she says slightly hitting the back of my head. I laugh at her and she tilts her head to the side basically begging me to do something stupid so she can smack the shit out of me. 

"I don't know. I just didn't want to cause any issues because if you haven't noticed every time Josh and Jake spoke for the past thirty minutes they would so ever nicely look at me." I looked over at her and whisper yelled the last half. She just shook her head as the red light for recording came on. The boys flawlessly played a song for their new album and walked into the break room to get something to drink. "Hey girls?" Sam said looking at Nicole and I "Yeah whats up?" Nicole said smiling at him. "Do you want to go out to eat after this, or do you want to order out and have a movie night?" he looks between the both of us emphasizing the movies and take out. I look at Nicole and already know what she wants. "A movie night sounds good. Just tell me what you want and I'll order it." I smile at him and he does a small jump. "Just get some Chinese and call it a night." Jake says to me harshly and bumps me as he walks past. 

The recording room was empty and Jake was sitting on his own tuning his guitar. I walk in and he doesn't even acknowledge my presence. I decide to stand in front of him with my hands on my hips. "Start talking Jake. I may not have known you for more than three days but a rock would be able to tell if you are upset, you aren't that good at hiding it." I say looking down at him. He just ignores me so I just walk away, if he isn't going to talk to me then I guess he isn't going to talk for a while. When I walk into the room Danny pulls me aside "Just ignore him he goes through moments like this, he just needs his space and then he will talk and rant all he wants." I nod and tell him to text me the food that everyone wants so that Nicole and I can get a head start on the traffic that gets bad during this time of day. 

Nicole and I say our goodbyes and walk out to my car. The boys said they would be at our apartment by seven so we run to get the food and I swear I have never seen this much food and have a lady get so frustrated by me ordering so much food. The boys said we would find something on netflix to watch so I trust that they will find something good. When we get home Nicole and I start cleaning the living room and she picks up a few blankets and decided to scream for me. "Annie!" she screams down the hallway. "What?" I say with an annoyed sigh "Should I bring down extra pillows?" she says smiling over the mound of blankets she has in her hands. "Yeah I'll grab them." I say as I walk into our rooms and grab all the pillows I can find and I hear a knock on the door. "It's open!" I yell at the door and I hear a bunch of feet come into the door. "Are you girls ready for the best night of your life?!" Josh says in and raises his arms for dramatic effect.
