Movies and Pain

I smile seeing the boys come in and taking a seat on the couch. "I'll be right back, I'm going to get the food from the kitchen." I say as I head to the kitchen. I start to put all the food into trays and set the plates on the tray, I quickly turn around when I hear someone walking behind me. I immediately look up and see Sam leaning on the counter. "Is everything okay?" I ask resting my hand on my hip. "Yeah, I was just coming to ask the same thing. I seen you walk out earlier today and I got kinda worried." he said smiling down at me, grabbing a tray. "Oh yeah! I was just worried I was causing issues that's all nothing to  worry about." I shoot a smile at him and grab the other tray off the table, and go into the living room passing out the food to everyone.

"What are we watching?" Nicole asks looking around at everyone. "Are we watching something scary, funny, or romantic?" I say sitting between Nicole and Danny. "Scary!" they all say and throw a pillow at me. "Okay, okay! Didn't know it would be that obvious." I reach forward and grab the controller and put on the autopsy of Jane Doe. We all get comfortable and start watching the movie. After we are done eating I take all the dishes and the trash into the kitchen, when I get back into the living room and my spot is gone. The only spot left is between the twins, great. 

I walk over and grab my pillow with my blanket taking a seat between the boys. Josh looks at me and smiles while Jake doesn't pay any attention to my presence next to him. That kinda hurt but it doesn't matter if he is upset with me it will all come out in the end. 

After that movie ends we all decide we want to watch another movie and I start to feel the weight of the long day setting in. I yawn and Josh notices and opens his arms for me to get close and relax. I lay my head down on his chest and I feel eyes in the back of my head. I look behind me and I see Jake glaring at me. I just decide to ignore it and try to get some sleep.

I wake up to a tap on my shoulder, and I look up slightly rubbing my eyes. When I open them I see Jake standing over me asking me to get up. I look up at Josh and see that he is sleeping. Slowly I move his arm and he shifts going back to sleep.When I stand up I look around and everyone is piled around in the living room asleep. Nicole is curled up with Sam and Danny is laying his legs across Sams lap and Josh is curled up into a ball in the middle of the love seat. Stifling a laugh I follow Jake into the kitchen and we stand there for a second before either of us say anything.

"What did you need?" I look over at him grabbing the dishes putting them into the sink. "Why him?" he said with a slight amount of anger. "What do you mean by that?" I look at him angerly. "You know what I mean Annie. You are all over my brother." he said getting close to me. "Excuse me for falling asleep and feeling comfortable with him. I would feel the same with you but as soon as I came in yesterday its like you took your anger and put a target on my back." at this point I was livid who did he think he was. He is acting like he could make choices in my friendships when I have only known him a whole two days.

"I'm done here if you have anything else to say, figure out a nice way to say it to me then maybe we can talk like civil human beings Jake." I said walking out of the kitchen and into the living room to grab my pillows and blanket. I start to walk upstairs and I pass the kitchen and see Jake sitting at the counter with his head in his hands then I hear a quiet bang of him hitting his fist angerly onto the counter. I'm done for the night someone can get me when the sun comes up.
