Chapter 4

I slowly opened my eyes to see Ruby standing over me.

"Jasmine! Are you ok? You almost-" Ruby said

I sat up. My head felt like it was burning. I looked around to see almost two dozen teachers standing over me.

"Are you Jasmine? I'm going to need for you to follow me. We need to talk." A male teacher said. It always terrified me when someone said that.

"I am Jasmine. Why do I need to follow you? I'm not sure what just happened. I was flying to catch the girl and I black out. Is she ok??" I said with panic in my voice and completely ignoring the teacher.

"The girl don't know how the girl is doing and I don't think I need to talk you to anymore. See you tomorrow." I man said while walking off with the two dozen other teachers, they seamed to be whispering to each other.

What was THAT about? He just wanted to talk to me and when I said I don't remember they just left? I scramble to my feet and regret it immediately. My head while it feels like it's on fire, also feels like it's getting hit on by a hammer.

"Ruby? What just happened? Why is everyone staring at me? They where almost 24 teachers surrounding me earlier?" I said in a panicked voice. Everyone I could see was starring at me.

"Jasmine, do you really have no idea what just happened? Like when- and your win- you really don't know?" Ruby said like I had memory problems.

"No? Should I know? I was falling and I blacked out! Is the girl ok? Seriously you guys are avoiding this question! Did I kill her?" I said panicked. Seriously why are you avoiding this question????!

"She's fine. So you- don't remember?" Ruby said like I still had memory problems.

"No!! Should I?? I blacked out!" I said almost yelling. Every time I got angry my headache got worse. I leaned back on the tree and sighed. Today was horrible.

"Look if no one is gonna tell me I don't wanna know! Let's go get some food and some basic supplies for class and leave. I'm tired and it's only like five!" I was way to stubborn to have this conversation.

Thankfully my backpack had not fallen off while what ever people refused to tell me happened. I stood up and nearly fell over. Ruby saw nearly pass out and quickly held onto my arm.

"Let's get you so good first. You look your going to pass out." Rubys said while smiling. I smiled back.

"Books, ✔️, Paper,✔️,Pencil supplies,✔️,Binder,✔️. Let's get the rest tomorrow. I need a new backpack anyway. We still have to get are necklaces anyway. Let's leave and get a room and come back to get the fun stuff tomorrow." Ruby said.

Today was a strange day. It had been about four hours since I had my blackout. Ruby's had practically dragged me around to get all of supplies today. I wanted nothing more then to sleep all day after my blackout but Ruby is persistent.

"Ok let's leave the bubble and get a room. Then tomorrow get up early and get the necklaces and actually fun stuff. We can only leave this dumb school if it's absolutely important and can't wait. Dumb rules" Ugh seriously the nerve of those teachers." Ruby said while looking around like she was gonna get kicked out for bad mouthing a teacher.

"Ok Ruby. Unlike you this school is my saving grace. I'm happy to be here. The importance of some these kids." I said while mocking her.

"Not funny! But we need to get going. The sun is setting and the room are going to taken by the time we get to a hotel. Let's go." Ruby said while almost running off.
