The drive there was actually pretty fun. Ethan isn't that bad when he's messing around, and Grayson was being his usual self. You decided that there was no way you could stay away from him, since he was your best friend and to be honest, your only real friend; you'd just have to let your feelings pass naturally.
Gray: "Well, I think this is it."
You turned away from Ethan and looked at where you were. The cabin was located just next to a river but was on raised ground. It was made out of wooden logs, had a slanted roof, and the windows were decorated with small fairy lights. There was also a gravel path that led to the front door from the parking area. Grayson pulled up into one of the spaces, and turned off the engine, before hopping out and heading round to the boot to collect your bags. You jumped out, and Ethan went round to help his brother. You all carried your bags up the path and Gray opened the front door, before turning on the light and walking in. You and E both followed in after him and looked around in amazement. To your left was a stone fireplace, surrounded by a coffee table and a couple sofas, as well as two armchairs and some footrests. There were tall, inbuilt bookcases on both sides of the fireplace and a painting hung on the stone wall. To your right was an oak dining table, decorated with candles and a vase of violet orchids. Ahead of you was a set of stone stairs that lead to what you guessed were the bedrooms, and you just assumed that the kitchen was through the door in the dining room. You hauled your bags upstairs and decided to go into the room two doors to the left. You walked in and laid your bags by the door; there was a double bed positioned against the wall, and a small corner couch by the window, as well as an oak wardrobe opposite the bed and a woollen rug on the floor.
You felt two arms wrap around your waist, and you could tell who it was immediately, just from their touch.
Y/N: "Hey Gray."
Gray: "Hey, I was wondering if you're free to just, talk," he spun you around and looked hopefully into your eyes, still holding onto you. You looked up at him and smiled, before nodding and leading him over to sit on your bed.
Y/N: "So what did you want to talk about?"
He rolled his eyes at you and tilted his head.
Gray: "I think you know."
You sighed to yourself and looked down at your hands as you fidgeted with your fingers. He put his hand over yours to calm you down and your eyes drifted upwards to meet his.
Gray: "I don't really know what happened, or if I maybe did something wrong but.."
He pulled his hand back and continued.
Gray: "I don't want our friendship to fall apart just because of a small thing that happened between us. I mean, I'm kind of guessing what this is all about, but Y/N, I can't lose you."
You felt a tear flow down your cheek; he placed his hand on the side of your face and wiped it away with his thumb. You smiled up at him.
Y/N: "I just- I felt the kiss meant different things to us both.. and I just thought that if I kept my distance from you then.."
Gray: "Wha- what do you mean it meant different things?"
Your eyes widened slightly as you realised what you just said.
Y/N: "Nothing I um, sorry I kind of have to unpack everything," you jumped off the bed and headed for your bags.
Y/N: "We'll talk later.."
Gray: "Right.." he got up and headed towards your door, before looking down at you messing around with your things.
Gray: "See you later then."
~8:15 PM ~
You closed the wardrobe door after unloading all your clothes. You fell back onto your bed and closed your eyes. You were close to drifting off to sleep, but you were awoken by Lisa knocking on your door.
Y/N: "Yes?"
She poked her head in as you sat up.
Lisa: "Hi sweetie, just wanted to let you know that dinner is ready, and about to be served," she said with a smile.
Y/N: "Okay, yeah, I'll be down in a second."
She nodded before closing your door and heading back downstairs. You jumped up and adjusted your clothes, as well as letting your hair down, before following after Lisa. You made your way into the dining room and sat down in the seat opposite Grayson. Your mum and Lisa came in shortly after, carrying all your food; they'd made some quick spaghetti Bolognese since you were all tired. Everyone sat down and started eating, but Sean started asking about you and Grayson.
Sean: "So Y/N, how are you and Grayson doing?"
You looked up from your plate, nearly choking on your mouthful. You swallowed before answering.
Y/N: "Yeah, were uh- doing great," you said with a smile.
Lisa chirped into the conversation.
Lisa: "Oh come on, you've got to tell us more than that."
Y/N: "Well um- I don't really know what to say.. what do you guys want to know?"
Sean: "Well, how did you guys come face to face with your feelings for each other?"
Y/N: "Umm.." you were trying to think of an answer, but Grayson interrupted.
Gray: "Well, it was our last day in L.A, and I'd taken her out for dinner. We were talking, as usual, messing around, and I looked over at her. In that moment, I realised how beautiful she truly was, inside and out. I'd knew I'd had slight feelings towards her for a couple weeks prior to that night, but I never understood how strong they were. I paid for our meals and we got a taxi to where we were staying, and then before we headed inside, I pulled her towards me and kissed her," he said, looking at you the whole time. You could feel your cheeks warming up, but you didn't really care; you decided to finish his story.
Y/N: "I hadn't expected it, but I kissed him back. I'd been in love with him for a while, and I was so happy that I finally knew he felt the same way about me. Afterwards, we went inside and spent the night in each other's arms. Just before we were about to go to sleep, he faced me and asked me to be his, and only his.."
I looked into his eyes and smiled, before turning to my mum and Lisa, who were both admiring our story.
Lisa: "Awh, that is the sweetest thing I've ever heard."
Y/D/N: "You two are really perfect for each other."
You turned to Grayson, whose eyes were still on you.
Gray: "Love you babygirl," he said with a smirk.
Y/N: "Love you too."
And with that, everyone started to eat.
When everyone had finished, your parents insisted on cleaning up and said that you and the boys could go up to your rooms. Just as you entered yours, someone came up behind you and lightly pushed you in, before closing and locking the door.
Y/N: "Gray, what was that for?" You turned to face him. He looked at you with desire in his eyes, and he started to walk towards you. You wanted to move, but your feet were glued to the floor; you just watched as he approached you. His face was now only a couple inches away from yours; his gaze drifted down to your lips, and back up to your eyes.
Gray: "You know Y/N, if you hesitate and don't push me away now, I won't be able to stop myself."
You looked at him, not knowing what to say. You knew you wanted this, so you decided not to say anything. All of a sudden, he grabbed your face and smashed his lips against yours. His hands immediately made their way down to your waist, pulling you closer to him, as your arms wrapped around his neck. He licked your lips, asking for entrance, and you allowed him. His tongue slipped into your mouth and danced with yours. You jumped onto him, wrapping your legs around him, and he fell with you onto your bed, not breaking the kiss. You pulled away and lifted his shirt over his head and threw it across the room, before kissing him again. He slid off your top and gazed at you while he licked his lips. His eyes made their way down your body, and eventually, back up to meet with yours. He smirked at you before pulling you back towards him. You wanted him, and for the first time, you knew he wanted you just as badly.
