Chapter 3

~TUESDAY MORNING, 6:00 AM~

You rummaged around in your duvets to find your phone, which was ringing too loud for this time of day. When you finally turned off your alarm, you rolled out of your bed and made your way into the bathroom. You turned the shower on and went to find an outfit for the day while the water warmed up. You ended up choosing some white, ripped shorts, a denim jacket to go around your waist, a black, halter crop top with white stripes, and some black vans. After you made your bed and laid out your clothes, you slipped off your pyjamas and jumped into the shower. You didn't take too long as you weren't washing your hair, so you got out and changed into your outfit within 20 minutes. You went with the same makeup as the day before, and quickly stuffed the books you needed for the day in your backpack.

Once you were ready, you made your way down the stairs and threw your bag next to the door. You pulled your phone out from your pocket and checked the time; it was only 6:30, so you decided to make a proper breakfast today. Just as you went to grab some eggs from the fridge, the doorbell rang. You put everything down and went to the front door. You'd expected maybe a delivery, but instead, when you opened the door, you were greeted by a smiling Grayson.

You stood to one side so that Grayson could come in.

Y/N: "Gray, what the fuck? It's 6:30, why are you here so early?" You looked at him and raised your eyebrow.

Gray: "Well, I figured that maybe you would want to go out for breakfast this morning with your amazing 'boyfriend'," he said while he shrugged his shoulders.

You rolled your eyes at him but nodded your head.

Y/N: "Yeah sure, why not, lemme just go say goodbye to my mum and dad."

Gray: "Sure thing."

You headed back up the stairs and knocked on your parent's bedroom door, before poking your head in.

Y/D/N: "Morning Y/N, what's up?"

Y/N: "Nothing much, just wanted to let you guys know I'm heading out now because Gray is taking me out to breakfast."

Y/M/N: "Awh, that's so cute. Okay sweetie, you get going now, have a good day!"

Y/N: "You too, bye guys."

You walked down the stairs, before grabbing your keys and your bag. Grayson opened your front door and held his arm out, signalling for you to go.

Gray: "Ladies first," he chuckled.

Y/N: "You fuckin' goof," you said with a giggle.

You both headed towards his jeep, jumped in, and jammed to music the whole way to the café he was taking you to.

He parked his car and you both hopped out, before walking in and getting a table. You were quite hungry this morning so you immediately started browsing the menu.

Gray: "So, you nervous?"

You looked up from the menu and at Gray,

Y/N: "Yeah kinda, attention isn't really my thing, but then again, if it pisses Maddie and Tyler off then it's so worth it!"

Gray chuckled at you before grabbing a menu, and you went back to looking through your options. You were actually quite anxious for what people would be saying about your 'relationship', but you were more worried about catching feelings for Gray; you didn't want to ruin your friendship, and you knew that he would never see you as more than a best friend. You sighed to yourself and decided on what you were going to order.

Gray: "Oh yeah, I just remembered, where are you dragging me to on the weekend with our families?"

Y/N: "It's just a small cabin in the woods, probably about a 2-hour drive away from our houses."
