You'd been wandering through the trees for about half an hour now, and you'd obviously found nothing, however, this was really nice. You'd never seen this side of Ethan; he'd always portrayed himself as a tough, emotionless guy, but once you got to know him a little, you began to learn that he was just as much of a goof as Gray. He dragged you two all around the woods, trying to find something like a big footprint. You and Grayson knew you would never find anything remotely close to that, but you didn't want to burst his little bubble. You and Gray had just been walking around, hand in hand, admiring your surroundings and talking about random crap. Even though it might not seem like much to other people, you loved and appreciated the moments like these you shared with each other. You decided to play around with E slightly.

Y/N: "Oh my fucking god, E! Get over here! I think I found something," you said, jumping in excitement. His head shot towards you and his eyes lit up.

Ethan: "What!" He darted towards you and scanned the ground around you. You burst out laughing and were holding your stomach due to your breathlessness.

Ethan: "Oh come on Y/N, that's not funny," he exclaimed as he tackled you to the floor. You both rolled around in the dirt, messing yourselves up, but you didn't care. You and E couldn't stop laughing and were giggling too much to wrestle, so you both ended up laying on the ground, cracking up. Grayson was laughing along with you guys, to begin with, but his smile slowly faded, as if he were mad you for having fun with Ethan. Although you two had 'something' going on, nothing was official, and your relationship was just to fool your parents, so you didn't think it was reasonable for him to get jealous over you having fun with his brother.

When you both had calmed down, Ethan stood up and dusted himself off, before giving you his hand to help you up as well. You took it and he pulled you to your feet.

Y/N: "Thank you," you said with a giggle. You could see Grayson in the corner of your eyes staring at Ethan, and he was clearly pissed. If what E had told you earlier was even partially true, would Gray really be getting so worked up over you two being friends? Who knows.

Gray: "Come on you guys, let's keep going," he said as he grabbed your hand aggressively and pulled you towards him.

Y/N: "Woah, calm down," you said quietly.

Grayson waited for Ethan to run ahead before answering you.

Gray: "Sorry, I just don't want you getting too close to E. I know he's my brother and all, but I'm not going to deny that he's a complete utter fuckboy. I don't want you getting hurt."

He wrapped his arms around you and rested his head on yours.

Y/N: "Gray, nothing's happening between me and Ethan. We just both agreed that it'll be better for everyone if we dropped what's happened in the past and started over, as friends." You pulled away slightly and looked up into Grayson's eyes with a smile. He smiled back and ran after E. You continued walking around the woods, and when you eventually pulled out your phone, the time was 2:12 pm. You and the boys were supposed to be heading home now, even though you felt bad for Ethan since he didn't find anything.

Y/N: "Hey guys, we should start going back now, it's 2:12." They both turned to look at you before nodding.

By the time you three burst through the door, it was 2:57, so you didn't have much time to change. You could hear your parents in the kitchen, so you ran up the stairs before they had the chance to see you. You rummaged around your drawers, trying to find the one bikini you'd brought with you. Once you found it, you quickly slipped off your mud-covered clothes, put on the black, strappy bikini and threw on some denim shorts, as well as a grey tank top and your combat boots again. You rushed downstairs to see everyone waiting for you in the living room.
