"jawn," geoff started. "i can't text him back. i'll get too attached, then he'll leave once be sees how much of a mess i am."
jawn couldn't take his eyes off the road but geoff knew if he could then jawn would look at him as he spoke. "i know, you've been through a lot but awsten would never ever wish to hurt you, he's been hurt so much before too." jawn tried reassuring his friend.
"i know, it just it took so much to even reply to him. i can't go through everything again. i just got over him." the brunettes voice sounded hurt, because well he was.
jawn placed his hand on geoff's for comfort. not in a romantic boyfriend way, they were nothing like that. they agreed over that 7 years ago when some dick at school said they were walking sins for dating. they weren't and still aren't. besides, jawn really likes otto and hopes geoff will like awsten more than friends soon. "hey, look at me." jawn said like a caring mother. "awsten is not ronnie. he was a dick for doing that to you. he had no right and you didn't deserve any of it."
the blue eyed boy sighed before mumbling an agreement. he did feel like shit for being like that towards awsten, the blue haired boy was someone, he hated this fact, that he felt he could trust with his life and that the blue haired boy was his lifeline now. he always hated this feeling ever sense ronnie left him last year. geoff had never really fully recovered after that, only trusting his best friends and no one else, especially if it was a romantic way. he steered away from anything like that as soon as possible. but with awsten all he seemed to want was to be there for him and cuddle him and just talk to him. stare into his duel-toned eyes and just sit in comfortable silence and be able to take pictures of the pretty boy. but he knew that he would never be bale to do with the blue boy for he would either chicken out, awsten would run yaw from him, or that geoff would tell awsten he liked him and awsten wouldn't fell the same and everything would turn out awkward or awsten would tell him that he want gay or wasn't excepting of gay people, even though he knew that was not true but the thought was still in his head at the moment. just everything that could go wrong in his head was going on, or well more of what was laying in his was going wrong. jawn could tell that geoff was thinking that way so he was trying to make the boy happier and make him reassure himself that he wad going to be okay and everything could be okay. "do you know where awsten saw those bunnies? when he sent me the picture he said he didn't have money at the moment to buy them so i thought maybe we- i mean me could get it for him as a gift?" geoff rambled on, not knowing the small smile he was wearing as he thought about how happy he was thinking awsten might end up being."he got them at walmart. and yes, next one we see we'll stop so you can run in and get those bunnies for awsten." jawn dragged out the 'a' in awsten and made funny eyebrow movements and winked.
the brunette hit his friend's arm and blushed and glared at him, looking out the window. "i don't know if i like him like that yet. give me some time?"
jawn nodded and turned back to the road, trying to find the nearest walmart. what? he wanted his ship to sail.
