The Runner (Feitan x Reader)

Chapter 11

"Yo Greenie, I just came to- whoa" Shalnark barged in the door and stop as soon as he saw me and Feitan.

And that was when I remember that Feitan was still on top of me. I quickly pushed him away and stood up.

"I-I'm sorry, was I interrupting something?" Shalnark wiggled his eyebrow and I blush in embarrassment.

"I-it's not what you think!" I tried reasoning out but it looks like nothing is going to change what was on Shalnark's mind.

The sound of the door got Shalnark and my attention. It was Feitan walking out without even saying a word.

"So, tell me..." Shalnark trailed off while crossing his arms. "What's up with you and Fei?"

"What do you mean? He was the one who barge inside my hut."

"Don't act dumb Greenie, a fact about him is he doesn't barge inside someone's property or even visit one. This was the first time he went into someone's house soooo might as well share what happened?"

I was shock at what he just said and also happy at the same time, which I couldnt understand why.

"Well, he just came in the door without knocking and going on a rampage about what happened at dinner time. He said something about this and that then he pinned me down the ground, grab my wrist because I was almost touching his face then you came in." I explained everything and he seem to be amuse.

"Wait a minute, he grab your wrist? As in Feitan grab your wrist?" He ask as if he did not believe what I just said.

"Yes? What's wrong with him grabbing my wrist?" This time, it was me who ask the question.

"Now that's interesting." He muttered while rubbing his chin.

"What's interesting about that?"

"Well I just came here to see if you're okay and now I'm leaving so bye bye." He rushed leaving and when I went after him, he was gone.

"Wait!" I looked around to see any signs of him but it was only the dark. "What do you mean by that?"

Feitan's POV

After I left, I went back in my hut and made sure that it was lock. I leaned on the door and tried calming the pounding on my chest. As soon as it did, I thought about the recent events.

The moment I saw her coming out of the box, I felt something. My heart started beating fast and loud. It was a new yet familiar feeling for me. I didn't know what it was so I ignored it.

But everytime I saw her he same feelings returns. Like, I'm suppose to know her and get close to her. She was on my mind the whole day, even in the maze.

What is happening to me?

I then remember the part where she touched my face. I slowly touch my cheek. Her touch was so soothing and smooth. I wanted her to continue but I was confuse at what I was feeling.

Who... is she and why do I feel this way whenever she's around?

I then look at my hand that grab her wrist. Everybody knows that I'm not the type of person who would just grab someone on the wrist or go inside someone's house. But with her, it somehow felt... familiar.

My thought was interrupted when someone knocked on my door.

"Yooooo Feiiii!" It was my annoying friend. "I know you're in there! We need to talk bro!"

I ignored him and went outside the window without him noticing.

Whatever this feeling is, I will find out what it means. I always do...

Reader's POV

I laid down on the bed, staring at the roof and thinking about recent events. I really don't know why I felt that way towards Feitan. We're not even close yet but I'm already feeling something for him.

It's probably nothing...

Yeah it's nothing...

Soon, I feel asleep...

Dream...

"Bastard!" Feitan yelled at me.

"Jerk!" I fired back.

"Stupid!"

"Idiot!"

"Clumsy!"

"Useless!"

"GUYS! STOP!" Shalnark shouted trying to stop us and we both glare at him.

"SHUT UP!" Shalnark flinch at our voice then he started laughing.

"You guys are going to be a cute couple in the future." He chuckled.

"Him?! My boyfriend! Never in a million years! I would rather die than become his girlfriend!" I exclaimed.

"Then go die! I don't want you to become my girlfriend anyway!" Feitan said and we both glared at each other.

"Seriously, just kiss each other already!" I was about to punch Shalnark but he caught my punch then pushed me towards Feitan.

Feitan on the other hand manage to catch me but didn't manage to remain on his balance so we both fell down the ground. I heard him grunt slightly and I stared into his grey eyes as my hair fall like a curtain around him.

I felt somehing new that day, my heart started beating like a drum as I gaze into his eyes.

"Get off me! You're so heavy!" Feitan commented after a few seconds pass and I immediately went off him.

He stood back up to his feet while dusting himself and I avoided eye contact. There was a few moment of silence before Shalnark broke it by laughing like a crazy person.

"You should have seen your face Y/n! It was hilarious!" He snorted and I left out an aura that made him stop laughing and he started running.

"You'll pay for this!" I yelled and started chasing him, ignoring the fact that Feitan was watching me from behind and wished that he was the one whom I was chasing after.

End of dream

I shot my eyes open and immediately sat down while breathing so hard, sweats were dripping from here to there and my head felt like it was spinning.
