I'm really really really really really sorry for not updating for so long, I completely forgot about this book because I lost interest in The Maze Runner after watching the 3rd movie cause my fav character died😢😢😢

Feitan's POV

I slowly open my eyes and saw the ceiling of the Med-Jacks. I haven't been here since the day I became a Runner.

"Oh, you're finally awake." Pitou just entered the room and I sat up. "Man you really missed a lot of events."

"What do you mean by that?" She gave me a serious look then sigh.

"Well... the Greenie is a Runner now." As soon as she said that, I tried standing up but fell down as my leg was still weak.

"What!" I nearly scream and she walk towards me.

"Now now you need to calm down."

"How did she become a Runner without me giving her a trial!"

"She ask Kite to give her the trial. Kite seems to be impressed at her. She did not just pass the trial, she even surpass me. I don't know how she did it but... you two are like twins." She smiled while closing her eyes.

A smile that says that she can sniff something good about it.

"She can't be a Runner!" I defended.

"Well she is now a Runner. Oh and by the way, she always visits you here after her training." I widen my eyes and felt my heart skip a beat.

"How long was I out for?"

"About a week. I could say that your body is really strong. Other people would had been in a coma for a month with that injuries. You heal faster than the others."

"I see, I need to see Y/n." I said and we both shared the same expression.

Shocked.

"Who's Y/n?" She questioned.

"The Greenie? Hasn't she remembered her name yet?" I replied.

"Not that I know of, which is pretty strange because she's the only Shank that hasn't remembered her name and it has been almost two weeks now." She answered. "By the way, who is Y/n?"

Before I could even answer her, someone entered the door. I widen my eyes as soon as I saw who it was and the pace of my heart quickens.

Why do I always feel like this whenever she's around?

"Oh, you're finally awake!" She said in excitement while rushing beside me and placing a hand on my forehead. "Your temperature had gone down and... your body heals faster than the other Shanks."

"Haha, that's exactly what I told him. Anyways, I'll leave the two of you here." Pitou giggled then left.

Greenie, or should I say Y/n, removed her hand and got something from her backpack. I don't know why but I didn't want her to remove her hand away yet.

It was like my body is asking for more of her touch. Like it owns her already.

Reader's POV

I gave Feitan some food that I saved and I notice that he was just staring at me.

"What?" I asked him and he looked away.

He stared at his food for a moment before sighing.

"You're a Runner now?" He suddenly questioned and I nodded as I sat beside him.

"Yes I am! I became a Runner after the day you were sent here." I answered and he clicked his tongue.

"Making you a Runner without my permission... Kite..." I heard him grumble as he stood up and walked away.

"Hey! Where are you going?" I quickly went after him.

He was about to open the main entrance but I pushed it closed. He then turned to me and glared at me.

"Stay out of my way." He demanded.

"No!" I yelled and he slightly flinched. "I won't let you go out there unless I know you're completely healed!"

"You don't tell me what to do." I narrowed my eyes, trying to intimidate her but her facial expression remains the same.

"I will fight you if I have to keep you here!" I fired back and we had a glaring contest.

"If they start to kiss, I'm going to puke." I was startled when I heard another voice in the room.

I looked behind me and saw Killua with Gon.

"What's a kiss?" Gon questioned.

I sat there, making sure that he finishes his food while he glared at me the whole time.

"Done." He threw the emply plate at me and I caught it. "I'm leaving."

I put the plate down and was about to stop him but I accidentally stepped on the spoon and fell forward.

"Ah!" I screamed and closed my eyes, waiting for the impact but I felt something wrapping around my waist.

"Tch. Clumsy bastard." I shot my eyes open and saw that I fell on top of Feitan.

This was the first time I observed his face up closed. He was really handsome and had the perfect jawline.

"I swear I always come at a bad timing." I was brought back to reality when I heard Shalnark's voice.

I quickly pushed myself up and dusted myself while giving Shalnark an awkward smile.

"Sup Shalnark, what brings you here?" I asked him and he gave me a worried look.

"The box came up."
