(MOIRA'S POV)
As Naomi hung up I had second thoughts of what I said to her. Is it really that wrong to lie to her?
Yet it would be embrassing if she found out I was texting and had a cute conversation with her best friend.
Harry.
I looked at out conversation and I couldn't help but smile. I've been hiding this inside my chest but I really fancy him. I know it's been just three days but he's such a charmer.
With his green eyes and cheeky smile, sometimes I would have the urge to punch him in the face. He's also kind and sweet. I wanted to tell Naomi but I was scared that she might tell him.
Of course I had to find a way to tell Naomi but I don't know how to sink it in. I had to tell Louis too since he's my best friend.
I quickly ran to the kitchen to start making breakfast since mum wakes up by 6. While I'm at it I'm gonna start making red velvet crinkles since Red Velvet pastries are Naomi's favorite.
When I was done putting the crinkles in the oven. I looked at the time and it was five. I started to do french toast and scrambled eggs.
After cooking breakfast, I checked the crinkles. It was okay and I put it out. I sprinkled the top with icing sugar and had a taste test for myself. It was delicious.
Mum came down and she saw me preparing the dining table. She came forward.
"Good morning." I greeted.
"Good morning." she sat and started eating. "Could you pass the strawberry marmalade please?"
"Here." I passed it to her.
"This is amazing Moira." she said while her mouth is full. "This could be the start of a good day."
"I sure hope it would."
As mum finished eating, she checked her watched. She stood up, kissed me on the cheek and she left..
I was alone again and Louis wont be up until 8. I stood up and put the crinkles in the fridge. I walked my way to the living room to watched television. I looked at my phone and received a text from Harry. A smile was printed on my face.
Then he called me.
"Hello?" I started.
"I thought of a pick up line." he said.
"Okay shoot."
"Are you tired?"
"No, why?" I smiled.
"Because you've been running in my mind."
I felt my stomach churning and my cheeks were getting hot. I know it was just a pick up line but he said it to me and I can't think of it as a joke.
"Harry that line's been out of style!" I said jokingly.
"I know." he sighed. "But I really was thinking about you."
Did I hear that right?
"What?" I asked. "You were thinking about me?"
"Yep. After a whole night of texting you who wouldn't?"
"Oh. Right." I smiled. "So, uhm,"
"Yeah?"
"How come you don't have a girl friend?" I asked. I know it's stupid but it's worth a shot.
"I haven't found her yet." he answered. "I've had a few girl friends but they never worked out."
"Wow. I would doubt if you never had a single girl friend."
