She was the first to wake the following morning, wrapped in the arms of the sleeping man beside her. Her eyes actually had a chance to look over his face, examine each and every detail without him noticing.

His scar. It was the thing she focused on first, slowly reaching her thumb to it and tracing across. Getting bitten by that Feral? It left little room for imagining how Arthur felt when he first got that wound. No doubt at such a young age? It must of made him cry, right?

Then she glanced to the less noticeable one on the left side of his face. It went across his brow, continuing slightly down his cheek. She'd actually never noticed it until now, being that she was closer to his face. What was that one from?

A smile spread on his lips from the touch of her hand, his muscles relaxing more then they already were. Did she have that much of an affect on him? Did her being around bring that much relaxation to him?

It made her heart skip a beat, his smile seeming to make his facial features more attractive then they already were. Her hands slowly went down to his chest, fingers trailing across another scar that ran across his chest. He'd never mention this one before, hell she didn't even notice it until now. Did he have other scars that she didn't notice?

Arthur let out a soft huff, rolling onto his back. Black strands of hair covered his face lightly, that usual side style he kept up nothing but a mess. I guess she could also be the reason for his messy hair...

Alyssa brushed her own hair from her face, sitting up. He was so... relaxed looking. Never would she have thought that in a million years she'd see him with anything other then that scowl that seemed to be permanent burned into his cheek muscles.

She bit her bottom lip, moving her position and gently sitting on his waist. No reaction. Was he really in this deep of a sleep? One would think that the man slept with one eye open, that any sort of touch or movement would jolt him awake in an instant.

A sigh escaped her lips, leaning her face to the crook of his neck and placing a small kiss. His smell filled her nose, a smell that was so fucken intoxicating. It wasn't a bad scent, hell it actually smelt of Lavender. She knew that he often had that particular scent lingering around him and when she'd originally asked about it, he put it off as being candles he'd received from the Citadel. But how could he still have that same fucken scent? Even after roaming around in the wastes for the past week with her, he didn't obtain any new smell and it was something she was slowly beginning to love about him.

His arms wrapped around her body, a hum vibrating his chest. "Well... good morning beautiful..." He spoke, a rough groggy tone to his voice.

She bit her bottom lip for a moment, mentally kicking herself for finding his morning the rough tone so damn hot. "Morning..." She hummed in response, kissing his shoulder softly.

Arthur kissed the top of her head before sitting up, hands going to her hips to hold her in place. "What were you up to?"

"N-Nothing." She stuttered, sitting back on her feet. "I was... What's the scar on your chest...?" He blinked a few times, like he was confused that she mentioned another scar. His eyes droned down to his chest for a moment before going back to hers. "Oh... It's from a few years ago, training accident." He admitted, sliding a hand up her bare back, moving it to the back of her head. "I kind of forget about it most of the time."

"With all due respect sir I find your scars very attractive." She spoke, moving her arms around his neck.

The hand that had been left on her hip tightened its grip, a deep chuckle coming from him. "Maybe I should get some more then~" He spoke, pulling her into a kiss.
