I walked over to Archie and Betty's booth and sat their shakes down, "Here you guys go" I said with a smile, "Need anything else?" I asked, looking between the two, "I think we're okay, thanks Anna" Archie said, and I gave a small nod before making my way back to stand behind the counter. The diner wasn't packed, but there were a few people thrown about, an occasional family getting ready to say goodbye to summer as their children returned to school tomorrow morning.

I made my way around the diner, refilling drinks and picking up trash, or cleaning the tables people had sat in previously. I walked over and checked on Archie and Betty before making my way back to the back and doing a few dishes before I heard the bell telling me somebody had entered. I dried my hands off on a cloth as I made my way back, noticing a girl I had never seen talking to Pop in front of Betty and Archie's table. I glanced at my cousin, noting the way he looked at the raven-haired girl. "Can we get an order of onion rings as well?" the girl asked, turning to face me, and I gave her a small smile and nod before walking into the kitchen "Girl that just came in also wants some onion rings, Pop" I tell him, and he gives me a nod as he focuses on the burger in front of him.

In just a few more hours, I had waken up and taken a shower for the first day back to school. I had dried my hair and let my natural beach waves fall around my shoulders as I got dressed into today's outfit. When finished, I sat at my vanity and put on a bit of mascara and winged out eye liner before a bit of cherry flavored lip gloss. I sprayed a bit of vanilla perfume on my body before picking up my school bag and put it on my back.

I made my way down to the living room, and into the kitchen where my dad was running around in sweatpants and a loose–fitting black shirt as he made a plate with some toast on it, and a bottle of water next to it. "Thank you, dad" I said as he turned to me with a smile. "Of course, sweetheart. Go ahead and eat, I'll go get changed and take you to school" I shook my head as I bit into the toast "Jughead and I are walking" I shrug, and he gives me a small, raising an eyebrow at me. "Alright, you tell him to let his dad know I say hello" I nodded, a bit awkwardly. Jughead had told me he left his dads house and was staying at The Twilight Drive-Inn. "I will" I said as I heard a knock at the door, "That's him, I'll see you after the dance tomorrow, I love you" I said before kissing his cheek and picking up the toast and water.
