After not eating for several days and throwing up stomach acid I had finally started to feel better, so I was returning to school today. Today, there were try outs for Riverdale's Variety Show. I know Archie was trying out, and I was happy for him, but also worried about it, since the crowds he's usually seeing aren't what he's focused on, Football. He doesn't have to be worried about the crowd as much on the field like he does on a stage.

I quickly made my way through the auditorium and walked over to sit beside Reggie and the Football boys, as we all said a quick hello to one another, Reggie placed his hand on my lower thigh, right above my knee. "Are you wanting to come work on English today?" I asked as I put my bag in the floor and kicked my feet up on the chair in front of me. "Yeah, I'll be over sometime between 4:00 and 4:30" I nodded as I grabbed his hand and interlocked our fingers as I watched people come and go on stage.

Soon, it was Archie on stage. I sat up a bit as he introduced the song he was playing, "It's an original, called I'll Try" "Try harder!" Reggie shouted as his friends laughed, and I turned to him with a cocked eyebrow "Reginald" I warned, and he gave me a smile while I let go of his hand and crossed my arms over my chest. "No, I'm sorry, hey" I gave him a glare, as he gave me a cheesy smile and put his hand back on my thigh. After a minute, Kevin was telling Archie to begin, but he apologized and ran off stage instead. I rolled my eyes "Maybe he should try harder" I mumbled, causing Reggie and Will to laugh as they were the only two that had heard me.

The rest of the day had been a bit boring, and I spent my time with Reggie mostly. Jughead hadn't been replying to messages the last few days, maybe even a week. It saddened me, but I suppose there is nothing I can do, maybe talk during school but it felt like he was avoiding me. Even in Biology, he moved so I moved to set with one of the Cheerleaders.

After school I had gone home and sat out some stuff for dinner before I sat at the kitchen counter and started to get my English homework out. I made my way over and filled a bowl up with elephant peanuts and walked back over, started to eat them as I looked at the homework. As I started to answer the questions over the book we were currently reading in class, I heard a knock at the door. I finished the sentence before getting up and making my way to the door, opening it to reveal Reggie, who smiled at me. I returned the smile and moved over to allow him in, as he walked in I closed the door and motioned towards the kitchen.

"I did some of it in class, but was hoping you'd go over it and make sure it was right" I nodded, "Answer them the best you can while I do mine, and I'll look at yours and help you" I tell him and he nods while sitting on one of the chairs and pulling out his green folder and yellow notebook. I sat back down in my seat and went back to working on question number four.

I walked towards Reggie, Moose, and Midge who sat at a booth as I pulled my pad and pen out, "Hey guys, what can I get you?" I ask with a smile, as I start to scribble down their order before going and giving it to Pop. I make my way to the booth behind them, cleaning it up "I am already ready to get off" I complain, as Reggie turns sideways in the booth to see me, "What are you doing afterwards?" "I've been up since six in the morning, and I don't get off until six tonight, but then I have to go to the studio, the coach texted me and said she has a dance she wants everyone there for" I said rolling my eyes, "So I won't even be getting home until probably three in the morning" I sigh as I hear the door ding that it opens.

I quickly lean up as Sherriff Keller walks in. I smile and walk over to the front counter, where he started to sit at, "Coffee?" I assumed, and he gave me a smile while responding "Please, and a cheeseburger and fries" "Of course" I say as if I already knew. He chuckles while I pour him a cup of coffee, and then scribble the order down to put it in the window just as Pop slides a basket of onion rings and fries into the window underneath for me. I take them as I make my way over to the preteens at the window beside the door.
