Another day after school, and I was at work. Reggie wasn't in school today, but he did text me that he wasn't going to be there before explaining what happened the previous night. I wasn't too mad at him, just because I quickly realized I'm not his girlfriend and he doesn't have to tell me anything like who he is hanging out with or what he's doing.

Earlier today, Sherriff Keller and Principal Weatherbee had found Betty and Jughead's murder board in the Blue and Gold office, and Keller took Jughead in.

At the counter in Pops I was serving Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Polly. When Polly had come in, I was quick to hug her and congratulate her on pregnancy but apologize for Jason's death. I put the two plates down in front of the couple before walking to the small window to grab a few more plates just as Cheryl walked in. I offered her a small smile as I walked past her and took the plates to the booth.

I came back just as they were all getting up to leave, and they quickly paid before finally leaving. When they left, I watched my dad enter and he gave me a smile while sitting down at the counter. "Burger and coffee" I stated, he nodded as a reply and I rung it up before leaning on the counter in front of him "I'm so tired, and I can't wait to get off" I complain, and he shakes his head. "Anna, I'm worried you're working too much. When's the last time you went to dance? And are you even focusing on school" "Reggie took me to the studio a little while ago, I'm doing okay in school, I'm even tutoring Reggie" "Okay in school is not good in school" I nodded as I walked around the counter and dad turned around as I wrapped my arms around his neck and hid my face in the crease. "I need a job, dad" I mumble. "No, you don't Anna, I'm taking care of you just fine aren't I?" "Still, I don't want to have to ask you every time I need money" I mumble as Pop hits the bell. I pull away and quickly grab the plate and give it to dad. "Besides, I love working with Pop" I say with a smile.

I watched as Archie stormed into Pops and sat with Jughead, Veronica, and Betty as I cocked an eyebrow before clocking out. "Are you coming or not, Jug?" I heard Archie ask loudly as I walked over to them, pulling my apron off "Where are you going?" I asked, causing him to look at me. "Kevin's boyfriend is taking us to some bar on the Southside, Moose is going to point out the guys that beat him up the other night" my eyes widened "Well I'm going with you" I declared. "No, Annabelle. Southside isn't the place for you" I grabbed Archie's jacket as I pulled him a bit closer "I didn't ask" I said and pushed him back a bit.

After having stopped for me to change, I was back in Kevin's truck with the boys as we drove to the bar on the southside. The Whyte Wyrm. Joaquin looked at me, with wide eyes for a second as I shook my head, going unnoticed by the other boys. He explained how to act inside before we walked in. My arm went around Kevin's out of instinct as we walked in. We looked around and I followed Joaquin and Kevin to the pool table as they started to play a round. I looked around, making sure my dad wasn't around or anyone I recognized.

I watched Archie walk over to someone, causing us to start walking over quickly as I noticed him turn around. Mustang, one of my fathers' old friends, turned around to him and my eyes widened a bit as they exchanged words. Mustang picked Archie up and pinned him on the pool table as I heard the familiar voice, "Let him go Mustang, cool off" I watched in fear as FP made his way down, my head shot to Archie realizing that now he knew his best friends secret.

After a minute, FP forced outside telling us to get home. "Not you red, or you Anna" I looked at Kevin and Moose, giving a small nod as Archie told them we'd be fine. I turned around to FP and he shook his head as he scolded Archie, and I already knew my turn was next. "And you! You just let him come down here, Anna!" "Hey, don't scream at her" "boy!" I shook my head as I turned hearing Fred's truck, "I called him as soon as you walked in" "Get in the truck" "Not you, Anna, your dads on his way here right now" I grunted and watched Archie get in the truck. "Annabelle get inside" "But" "Now, Annabelle Vivian" "Don't scream at my niece, FP" "I'm going" I mumbled and started to make my way in, as I recognized Joaquin, talking to another serpent boy.

I walked over, and Joaquin gave me a look "You know they're going to find out right" I shook my head as I leaned on the table "find out what, Joaquin" "That your dad is a serpent, along with many other things, what you're not worried Princess?" "Was a serpent. Also, shut it, before I shut it for you" "Try me, princess. I think you're in my territory" "Fuck your territory" I replied with a bright smile, the serpent with him chuckled. "Don't you have a Sherriff's son to have your tongue in" as I said those few words, I felt a hand grip my throat and I was pushed against the table, "Watch it" "I don't think you remember, this doesn't work" I said as I put my hand on his, and tightened it as he smiled at me.

"Now get off me, you're dating my friend" I say as I snatch his grip and bend his arm back just enough to burn. "So, who's your friend, Joaquin?" I turned to the boy, he had a good build and he was medium height, tanned skin. As Joaquin went to answer the boy, I heard my name shouted across the bar, "Annabelle Vivian Pierce! Get your ass over here!" I turned to the boys, giving a salute "Nice knowing you boys, I'm about to get murdered" I say as I make my way to my father at the front, passing FP, "Bye FP" I fumble, "Bye, Belle" he says as he watched my dad drag me over to the mustang, and push me into the passenger seat. I rubbed my arm as it shot with pain when he had let go.

Dad was quick to speed to the house and make me go inside to the living room. I sat on the couch as he walked in, slamming the door. He paced the floor as he pulled the leather jacket off him, and through it at the door with rage. I jumped slightly, and then he started the yelling. "Why did you think that was a good idea? Did you think you were helping Archie? Go in there, blame some people for the attack of that boy!? Huh!? Because I thought by now, you would know the serpents wouldn't do that, Annabelle! I raised you better then that! We, raised you better then that! You can't just waltz into the serpent den with your cousin, trying to help him!" I shook a bit with fear, "I" "You never think! How come you never think!? Huh!? You never use your head, Annabelle! All you do is follow Archie and help him with his little stunts! That stunt just now, could have gotten all of you hurt, or killed! You used to be so smart, Annabelle! What the hell happened!?" My body trembled as he shouted, he had never shouted at me like this.

"Do you want to be a Southsider!? Because we can move to the Southside! Do you know, your mother would kill me if she knew you went in that place!? Then Fred, then Archie, then FP! Annabelle you need to learn your actions have consequences! I'm already having the stress of finding a new job, and now you're doing– I don't even know what you're doing! You're going to learn, starting now, Annabelle! Go get your phone, your laptop, I'll be up later for your tv, but you're grounded until I say otherwise!" I nodded my head as tears ran down my face as I tossed my phone on the table, and quickly ran up to my room for my laptop before setting it on the table in front of him. "Now get your ass in the shower, then go to bed, Annabelle!" I was quick to turn and sprint to my bathroom.

I always get in trouble, and it's always something to do with Archie...
