'Stephanie time to get up!', my mom called from downstairs. 'Ugh', I moaned. 'Come on, you don't want to be late for school!', she said before making her way back to the kitchen. I hated school, always have, maybe it's because whatever school I go to I get bullied. There's nothing wrong with me, it's just I seem like the perfect punch bag for a bully, literally. I been in fights before but have never won them of course, I'm so frail and week. They make fun of my glasses and what I wear, and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. I moved here just two days ago and have practically spent those two days in my room on my laptop. Now I'm going to a new school to graduate, weird I know, but maybe things will be different. I finally got out of bed and got dressed. I put on my glasses, curled my hair, put on a little makeup, brushed my teeth and made my way downstairs. 'Morning', my mother chirped with a smile. She's always so nice to me and she's always been there for me. 'Morning', I smiled back. I poured myself some cereal while my mom made me some coffee. 'Your father is at work, he told me to tell you he'll be thinking of you today and to have fun', she said handing me the coffee. 'Thats sweet of him', I said taking a sip before eating my cereal. When I was finished my breakfast I got my phone and slipped it in my pocket before throwing my bag over my back. The new school was only a 5 minute walk but my mom insisted she'd drive me on my first day. I really hope things go well, I'm starting to like where I live and don't want to move anytime soon. When my mom dropped me off, I kissed her cheek before exiting the car. The school was huge, and many other teenagers were making their way in the door. I took in a deep breath before stepping inside.

AS soon as I walked in the doors I felt claustrophobic. I took out my time table and saw that maths was my first class. I love maths, everyone else in my old schools made fun of me because I liked it so much. 'Are you even listening?', a guy said snapping me out of my thoughts. 'Sorry what?', I said confused. 'Your standing in front of my locker geek, now move!', he said with anger in his eyes. 'Oh eh sorry', I said stepping backwards. I turned around and bumped into some guy making all their books fall. Great, just great. 'Im so sorry, I'm so clumsy', I said bending down to help. He was perfect. He had gorgeous eyes, perfectly messy hair, and he was very attractive. 'Its fine honestly', he laughed. Oh my god his laugh was so hot. CALM DOWN, you don't even know him, remember what happened last time?, my conscience added. 'So what's your name?', he asked smiling as he stood up. 'Stephanie, but people call me Steph', I answered shyly. 'Well my name is Zac, nice to meet you', he smirked. 'Are you new here?, I haven't seen you around', he said running his hands through his brown messy hair. 'Yeah I just moved here', I replied smiling. 'Thats cool. I was thinking maybe we could--' 'Hey Babe!', I girl said walking over to Zac. Great. 'Eh hey Beth', Zac said ignoring me. 'Whos your friend?', she asked chewing her gum. 'This is Stephanie, Stephanie, this is Beth'. 'Hey nice to meet you', I said awkwardly fixing my glasses. 'Yeah same', she said barely looking at me. I heard Zac mumble something to here and I felt like I was intruding. 'Zac I think Flash called you', Beth said to Zac. I didn't hear anything but decided not to say anything. 'Ok, well it was nice meeting you Steph, I'll he see you around', he smiled before walking off. 'So uh what classes are you tak--' 'Oh shut up would you', she butted in. 'Im sorry what?', I asked. 'Stay the hell away from Zac, you here me?', she said stepping close to me. I back up against a locker. 'Ok but I wasn't--', 'Stay the fuck away from him or else', she said before she flicked her hair behind her and walked away. Great start to the day.
