The bell rang meaning the first class was about to start. I made my way to the maths room I saw Zac at the back of the class. He winked I smiled. Then I saw Beth looking at me and my smile vanished. I sat at the front of the class, as always and took out my books etc. 'good morning class', the teacher said as he entered the room. He was young and handsome, about 21 and had a beautiful smile. 'Today we will be doing a bit of algebra, I know it sucks but your going to have to get used to it', he said with a smile. I love algebra, and him teaching would be more fun. I raised my hand at nearly every question, gaining a few looks from people in the class, and before I know it, class was over. I made my way out of the class before anyone else to avoid contact with Beth or Zac. I quickly walked down the hall. 'Steph! Wait up', Zac's deep voice echoed through the hall. I chose to ignore it, remember what Beth said. 'Steph!', he called again. I could here him running so I tried to walk as quick as I could, but unfortunately he caught up with me. 'Hey, what's wrong?', he said stopping in front of me. 'Nothing, I just need to get to the other class', I said trying to move around him but he stopped me. 'Tell me, maybe I can help', he said with his sweet voice. 'Well--' 'Zaaaaaacc', I heard Beth calling. I quickly walked around him and made my way to English class. I'm beyond scared of Beth at this point.

I practically ran into English class trying to hide from Zac and Beth. I sat down quickly hoping they wouldnt see me. Oh my god, what is wrong with me. Maybe people bullied me because I let them. I should really be standing up for myself, but Zac and Beth and together, maybe I shouldn't be intruding them. Zac is so nice, why is he even with Beth. I get she's pretty and everything but seriously, she's so mean. 'Stephanie?', the teacher said snapping me from my thoughts. 'Sorry what did you say?', I asked. A few people including Beth laughed quietly. 'What is the moral of this story?', she said waiting for my answer. I wasn't listening, what will I say. 'Maybe she doesn't know how to talk' , I heard Beth say laughing at the back of the class. 'Beth, stop that nonsense now', she said giving out to Beth. Beth rolled her eyes before leaning back into Zac. 'The moral of the story is to not let people push you around or degrade you in any way', she smiled. How convenient. When class was over it was time for lunch. I hadn't made any new friends so I had nobody to sit beside. As I walked around looking for a place to sit, Zac saw me and came rushing over. 'Hey Steph', he smiled. I wish he wasn't with Beth, I'm starting to really develop feelings for him. 'Hey Zac', I smiled trying not to make eye contact. 'Do you wanna sit with us?', he asked. He's so sweet. 'Yes please, I'd love that', I said taking a chance. Zac and I walked over to his table of friends and he introduced me. His friends are really nice, there was a girl I could tell I would be friends with. Her name was Zoey. She had blonde curly hair and was really pretty. I introduced myself before sitting down beside her. A few moments went by before I saw Beth coming over. Great.

'Zac! What did I say!?', she yelled making all of his friends turn their attention to Beth. 'What DID you say', he said turning around, a little angry. 'I said Steph can't sit with us!', she said looking at me with anger in her eyes. All of Zacs friends starred at me then back at Beth. 'Shes staying here, she's my friend and all of us like her, right guys?', Zac asked turning to his friends. They all nodded and smiled while starring straight at Beth. I could tell they didn't like her either. 'Fine well I'm leaving to get lunch somewhere else', she huffed and left us. 'Im so sorry about my girlfriend guys', Zac said sighing as he covered his face with large hands. 'Its fine', his friends laughed as they continued to eat their lunch. Zac moved so he was sitting in front of me. 'Im sorry about what she said to you Steph', Zac said clearly upset. 'Its ok, I'm fine', I forced a fake smile. If only he knew how I felt. 'Well good, would you like to sit with me for the rest of the classes today?', he smirked. 'I..um.. What about Beth?', I stuttered. 'Dont mind her', I'll take care of it', he winked. He is literally perfect. When we finished our lunch all the classes went pretty quick, probably because I was sitting with Zac. Beth was sitting the other side of the class for most of the time and when the final class ended Beth came rushing over to Zac. I decided to leave. I waved to Zac and he forced a smile before I left the school and walked home. {Zacs p.o.v} I could tell Beth wasn't going to be happy with Steph sitting beside me but I didn't want her sitting by herself. When school ended Beth stood up quickly and came rushing over to me. Steph left with a wave and I forced a smile before she was no longer in site. I was getting ready for some grief from Beth
