Chapter six

[stephs p.o.v]

I mean I guess it's a little too soon to tell him. I've known him two days! It's just Zac is different, you know? I can feel it, he is so nice, and if something doesn't happen between us, I'd be glad to have him as a friend. It's weird though because I've had friends that were boys before, when I'm with Zac it's different. I get more shy then usual, I blush at stupid things and I have a hint of butterflies in my stomach. 'Thats love', my conscience added. 'Finished! You can turn around!', I said turning around to see Zac already starring with a smirk on his face. 'Zachary, where you starring at me!?', I said trying to be serious but failing by laughing. 'Maybe I was, maybe I wasn't', Zac said starring at the ceiling with a grin on his face. 'Naughty boy', I said playfully nudging him. I walked a little in front of him as we began to walk out of the hall. 'Youre beautiful', I heard Zac say quietly under his breath. I decided this was my chance to play a game. 'What did you say?', I turned around with a smile as a walked back to him. 'Ehh nothing', he said shy. I've never seen him like this before. 'No tell me, in your friend am I not?', I said trying not to make it obvious that I knew what he said. 'Your beautiful okay!?, there I said it! I don't care what anyone thinks', what do you mean what anyone thinks?', I asked shocked and confused. 'Im sick of arguing back and forth with Beth.. And.. And... Steph will you by my girlfriend?', Zac finally finished. I didn't know what to say, I was shocked because nobody ever said anything like that to me and I wasn't expecting an answer like that. 'Steph?', Zac said snapping me from my thoughts. 'Nevermind', Zac sighed about to leave me. 'Wait!', I said and he stopped. When he turned around I jumped up and locked my legs around him as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. He was shocked by my response but held me up and kissed me back just as passionately. He leaned back against the wall as we continued kissing. When we finally broke apart our eyes locked. 'Ill take that as a yes', Zac said with a smile before we resumed kissing.

'ZAC WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?', Beth exclaimed.

'Shit', I sighed to Steph as Beth came running over looking quite angry. 'What do you think your fucking doing', Beth said pushing Steph off me and onto the floor. Her glasses fell off her and she fell on her ankle again, sure to damage it. 'What are you doing!?', I yelled at Beth as she stood into front of Steph. Beth wasn't listening, instead she picked up her glasses and broke the side of them followed by standing on her foot. 'Leave her fucking alone!!!', I exclaimed standing in front of Beth, guarding Steph. 'Move out of the way!! I'll speak to you later!', she said trying to get to Steph but failling as my hand was keeping her back. 'No need to, we are finished!', I said through gritted teeth. 'What?, baby.. No.. I--' 'Save it Beth! You thought you could push me around and be a bitch to Steph, well not anymore!', I yelled. A tear started to roll down Beth's face, as if she actually loved me. 'Dont even try it, and I know you were the one that pushed Steph', I said lying, trying to see her response. 'You know what!?, I don't care! I hope your happy with her and not me!', Beth said crying as she ran to the bathroom. I turned around to see if Steph was ok and she was holding her foot. 'Steph.. I'm so sorry.. This is all my fault', I said kneeling down to help her. 'No Zac it's.. It's ok I'm fine, I just need to take it easy for now. How did you know about Beth', she asked. 'I just had a feeling', I said looking at her foot. 'Are you okay?', I stupidly asked, obviously she wasn't. 'Yeah I think so', she said standing up only to fall back down again. 'Steph we need to get you home', I said lifting her up and carrying her bridal style. 'Thanks Zac', she said trying to fix her glasses. I brought to to the nurse and she said I could drive her home. I carried Steph out to my car and started it. 'Zac I can't thank you enough for this', she said forcing a smile. 'Its fine honestly. Are you going to tell your mom what happened?', I asked. 'Yeah, I'll see if my friend will come over now. Will you wait till she comes over?', she asked. 'Of course I will', I smiled back.

When we got to her house we told her mom everything. Soon enough her friend arrived.
