Like human birth control, suppressants can prevent pregnancy. Certain ones at least. Suppressants, especially Omega suppressants, come with bad side effects like intense nausea or even infertility. Suppressants for Alphas and Omegas are meant to help during heats and ruts as well but do not completely stop heats and ruts. They are only to be taken during heats and ruts for side effects to not pop up, if they were to be taken every day all the time side effects could pop up.
