chapter 2: Coaches orders

I came in from my morning run and went up stairs to my bathroom to shower and get ready for the day

I stood in the shower contemplating what I was going to do am failing maths and coach is really pissed and well I can't disappoint my dad any more after all that's happed i just can't I felt tears run down my face

Rrrrrrrr am such a disappointment men don't cry I thought as I punched the wall

My hand filled with pain and my knuckles were cut open I washed away the blood and got out I put my towel around my waist and walked out to my wardrobe and pulled out a Short sleeve Black top and my varsity jacket on and put some blue skinny jeans on .

I grabbed my bag for school and ran down stairs to were I could smell food

I got to the kitchen to find my dad making bacon sandwiches

"Morning son thought you might want one of theses" my dad gestured to a plate that was on by one of the seat on the island

I sat down and eat happily until my dad came and sat by me with his we sat and talked about everything and anything

Until I realised I was late for school

"Got to get going dad I'm late" I spoke getting up and putting my plate in the dish washer and shouldering my bag

"Okay bud have a good day" my dad said swallowing the last of his food

"Thanks dad love you!" I shouted as I ran to the door

"Love you too!"I heard my dad say as I shut the door and headed for my Black Range Rover

I got into my car and rushed out maybe going over the speed limit but am late coach would be mad if I got a detention so close to a game

I turned round a Conner so fast I did not see this guy crossing the road

"SHIT!" The screamed as I stomped my foot on the break stoping right in front of him

I watched as the guys jumped back in fright and hurriedly ran I rest of the part of the road to cross it

I sat there for a while trying to calm my heart beat

I drove the rest of the way being cautious of people crossing

Once I pulled up to school I grabbed my bag and walked in.

The bell had not rung yet so I had time to go to my locker

Once I got their I sore Luke and Liam leaning up against the lockers next to mine I smiled they always seem to make my mood ten times better.

"Morning you two" I smiled as I opened my locker

"HEY!!"Luke shouted too enthusiastic for a human on a Monday morning

"what got you so late it's almost home room I had to stand here waiting with this dweeb " Liam grumbled in a tired tone because hanging around Luke can make your energy drain because Luke's a hand full but he is also my best friend so I like that about him .

"Hey don't call me a dweeb. Dweeb!"Luke shrieked

I laughed whilst Liam just slapped the back of Luke's head.

We all walked together to home room and sat down and chilled as the teacher did not show up again so we had a substitute but he just registered us and let us do what we wanted so here we are

"YOU WHAT!" Luke shouted jumping up form his seat drawing a few people to look at us with annoyed looks

"Yeah I kinda almost hit someone with my car" I itched the back of my head in embarrassment

Liam laughed and pulled his brother from behind to sit back down in his chair

"How you do that exactly" Liam chuckled his mood seeming to lighten

"Well I guess I was driving to fast and did not see the poor guy crossing to road" I said kind of embarrassed now I think about it

"That hilarious" Liam said leaning back in his chair

"I wish I was there sounds fun " Luke laughed

"Yeah yeah" I said chuckling at their reactions

It was lunch and I was heading out of the changing rooms after football training we have it instead of PE

When my coach pulled me into his office

"So I have found you a tutor for maths so you can stay in the team you have to do this or you will be taken off the team and you know I hate to do this especially since what has happened to you but I have no choice in this" coach said in the most sincere voice I have ever heard him speak In

"I know coach so when is this ?" I asked knowing I can't get out of this

"Well we have practice on Wednesday and Thursdays after school so it will have to be on Tuesday after school if that's okay with"
Coach said patting my shoulder

"Yes it's fine it will be in the library right?" I asked fearing the worsts I hate library's the librarian is so scary and the mazed of books you could get lost in them rrrrrrrr I just hate library's so much I just can't

"Yes and your tutors name is"coach grabbed a pice of paper out of his pocket
" Nolan Hikes I got mr Blakey to ask his best student so please go to theses it will help we need you on this team you know that" the coach said before letting me go

I sighed as I walked out the door

Hmmm Nolan Hikes I have not heard of him?

I was hanging with Luke Liam and a few others in the corridor we hang out in

Everyone was having a laugh and taking about our weekends and what not

When Hector decided to stick out his foot and trip over this boy with his hood up who was reading something to busy to notice Hectors foot

He slammed into the floor his books going flying to the ground near my feet

Everyone burst out laughing
At the poor guy who was just tying to read

I shear a look at Luke and Liam who also did not find it funny

I pic up the books and go to help the guy up who looks to be struggling in pain

I knelt down next to him and reach my hand out for him to help him up
