stay strong, sister. you know best what betrayal feels like.
he entered at a time where you needed all the love you could get.
but he left at a time you wouldn't be with anyone else.
so he tore you through like a rugged patchwork quilt
so he broke your heart into slivers of what could only be described as unspeakable grief
so he made you feel like dust, that you were worthless, meaningless without him
but he taught you so much more.
he taught you the price of love
he taught you the need to realise your worth
he taught you to keep fighting.
you don't have to care about what the world thinks so
just scream your voice out
scream it with the weight of all the emotions you've felt
because those emotions give you strength, and power and beauty
they write you an extra chapter in your twistedly fragile story
embrace them, and don't let go of what you're fighting for.
stay strong, sister. you know best what betrayal feels like.
