in all the world that's a sea of darkness and faces
in all the lives that are built and broken by lies
in all the stories that are written and rewritten by fate
in all the days where your inner sunlight is eclipsed by the shadow of despair
i still have faith
i still have hope and faith in you
because i know you -
i know you for the angel you are; the star who's not afraid to burn a little too bright
whenever they try to force the scream of silence down your parched throat,
whenever they want to drown you out with the sound of too-loud riffs,
just remember this for me:
you are strong.
you are beautiful.
you are worth it.
you can do anything you set your mind to.
even if the world turns against you, never stop loving uncontrollably and living unapologetically.
you have within you the fire to spark courage and ignite inspiration
never give up.
and always remember, no matter what, i'm here.
