The blonde haired girl stood there watching her friend after he'd shown her the most beautiful and horrifying sights ever. Nobody would truly believe her if she told them what the pair had seen, her sister Astrid would only see her as being weaker than what most people already believed, her friends would just mock her even more, the tribe would just look on at her with even more pity.
"You can't leave..."
"I won't kill that dragon they can't make me!"
"Then what are you gonna do... the Chief, Gobber, my sister, everyone from the village is expecting you to be there tomorrow"
"I'll run away.. no one has to die, I'll just leave with Toothless" his words spoke loud with determination.
"But then who will I talk to.. Hiccup your my friend, my best friend.. don't leave me alone with them all" her voice quaked as she spoke fear of losing her friend burned inside of her.
"Then come with me" he stated holding his hand out for her as the dragon behind him made a noice of agreement.
A silent nod was made. The future had been set as things fell into place.
Shadows danced across the skies as a pained cry of a lone sister rung out in Berk the morning after.

They often speak of that night.
The night in which the heir and his closest friend went missing.
They say the moon was full and hung high in the sky.
And that there was nothing to be seen but the stars shining in the darkness, the fires of the dragons who attacked the village that night burned brightly, illuminating Berk well into the early morning.
That's how they say it went about, that it was the dragons who took two more Vikings from the tribe.But it's sometimes said that if you looked closely that night you may have seen the silhouette of a dragon and two riders flying away into the unknown, far far away.
