"I..uh, um a-a few days ago when you were on your last business trip. I did something wrong, something very wrong.."

Gloria frown as she listened to every word that came out of Tai's mouth.

"I cheated on you with Sora"

He said as he let out a shakey breathe. When he didn't hear any screams, or yells he looked to Gloria and was surprise to see her looking at him with seriousness in her eyes.

"H-how did it happen? Did I do something wrong?"

She asked quietly. Tai shook his head as he stroke her hair and her cheek.

"No, no no you did nothing wrong, it was my damn fault"

"How?"

Tai closed his eyes as he let out a sigh yet again.

"I let her inside the apartment"

"Why?"

"I never knew what her intention was, I thought it was just a friendly visit"

"What exactly happen?"

"She offered to make me a decent meal and I accepted, but before she even cook she gave me a drink of orange that tasted weird"

"And then?"

"Then, I don't know it was mostly a blur, I remember feeling dizzy and then she helped me to the bedroom and she began to remove my clothes but after that I was deep asleep"

After Tai told his story, his eyes open wide in realization.

"Do you think she probably put something in my drink?"

Before Gloria could answer, Tai answered his own question.

"She must have, I knew that the orange juice was off but my God how can I be that stupid"

He said hitting his head angry. Gloria quickly grabbed his hand with hers.

"Hey stop"

She said quietly. Tai open his eyes and look to Gloria who was sadly looking at their hands that were linked together.

"Gloria I'm sorry, but please don't leave me. I'll make it up to you, for all the days of my life"

He said begging. Gloria licked her lips as she thought for a moment. She then she looked to Tai with a bright smile.

"Is this why you were being so clingy with me since I got back?"

She asked. Tai sadly nodded.

"Then I forgive you"

Tai thought he would be happy with those words but he felt like he didn't deserve it right away.

"What? No you can't forgive me. You need to yell at me and tell me that I'm the most disgusting person in the world"

"Is that what you want me to do?"

She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Just do what you think is right"

He said with a tired sigh.

"Then I choose to forgive you"

"Why?"

Gloria simply shrugs

"You made a mistake. You're human, we all have flaws and challenges, if we fail then the only thing left to do is try again. I can't change the past Tai, no matter how much it hurts, but what can I do about it? Nothing,  I'm just going to let it go"

Tai was about to comment but Gloria continued.

"But..."

Tai looked to her in curiosity about what she was going to say.

"It was my fault"

Tai's eyes open wide as he saw the tears finally falling from Gloria's eyes.

"What?"

"My job took up most of my time, I'm going to make a change, I'm leaving my position"

Tai's eyes open wide.

"What? No, Gloria please don't quite your job, you worked too hard to be where you are now"

Gloria sadly smiled.

"I'm not leaving my job just only the position that is closer to home"

"You mean..."

"Yes, everything is going to be the same but I will always come home to you. Yes my job is important, but your important to me too"

Tai lunged himself to Gloria bringing her into a tight embrace. Gloria smiled as tears continued to fall as she embraced him.

"I'm never going to let something like that happen again, okay. I promise you"

Tai said lowly to her ear.

"Don't make promises you can't keep"

"I will keep this promise with my life"

Gloria smiled as she pulled away and looked down at her hand that held the engagement ring as a thought came to her.

"Is this why you propose to me in the rain? For to distract me?"

She asked. Tai looked at her hand and smiled, as he held her hand to his face as he gently gave her a kiss on top of her hand.

"No, it was actually the opposite"

"How?"

She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I wanted to propose to you at dinner, but I also wanted to tell you the truth. So I thought if we were to engaged then you wouldn't leave me after I told you the truth"

Gloria sadly smiled as she caressed his check with her other hand.

"Oh Tai, come on you know me better than that, even after everything we been through in the digital world. When you fell under the ground, I was lost without you. I would not leave your side no matter what happens"

"Promise?"

He asked hopefully. Gloria smiled brightly at him.

"This is a promise that I know I will keep"

Tai smiled as he embraced her once more.

"Thank you, thank you so much for understanding"

"No problem sweetheart, now how about I finish getting ready and then we can head out to dinner?"

"Sounds like a plan, unless you want me to join you?"

He asked seductively as he stared into her eyes. Gloria laughs as she stood up from the couch.

"If you do then we won't be able to go out"

"I don't see a problem with that, we can always order out..."

Tai suggested but was cut off as a blouse hit his face. He removed it to see his fiance wearing a skirt and her bra with her hands on her hips.

"I want a dinner plate"

She said with a laugh as she ran back to the bathroom. Tai laughs as he stood up and began to unbutton his shirt as he followed her into the bathroom.
