Tai had enough of sulking feeling sorry for himself.

'This is not over between us'

He thought as he stood up and began to get ready for another long day. Tai was walking down the street, he knew he could have taken the car but his mind was distracting and the walking could help.

'Let me see, if she's not answering her phone then maybe I can check if she's at work'

He thought with a smile. Tai didn't bother on walking anymore as he began to run towards the direction of Gloria's job. After a miles of running he came to a stop to catch his breathe, panting and sweating.

"I..should have...taken the...car"

He said to himself panting, he then looked up to see how far he was and was glad he was only one block away from the CEO building. He then smiled as he looked to the side and saw he was standing beside the flower shop.

"What luck"

He said as he entered the store.

"Hello young man, how can I help you?"

Said a elderly lady. Tai looked to her.

"Hi, I was wondering if you can tell me what flowers would you suggest for me to get"

"Of course, we have many flowers, what are you looking for specifically?"

"Something that says I'm sorry and I love you"

"Awww did you hurt the poor gal feelings?"

She asked curiously as she began to grab some white and red roses. Tai sadly looked down.

"I just...*sigh* I made a mistake"

"We all make mistakes, dear boy"

"Yeah but I don't think this one will be a solve that easily"

"Well if you're getting your girlfriend some flowers then it's a start"

She said handing him the bouquet of flowers. Tai blushed with a smile.

"Actually she's my fiance well at least I hope she still is"

He said quietly as he took out his wallet and took out the right amount.

"Thank you ma'am"

Tai said with a slight bow as he walked out of the store.

"Any time, and best of luck"

Said the lady with a wave. Tai took a deep breathe as he headed towards his destination. He walked up towards the security desk.

"What can I help you with?"

"I'm looking for Gloria Barbie's office"

"For what reason?"

"It's personal"

The security nodded as he wrote Tai a pass.

"5th floor, your gonna make a right and then it's the last door on the left"

Tai nodded as he followed the directions. He licked his lips nervously as he knocked on the door but there was no response. Tai let out a sigh as he was about to turn around to leave but stop as someone called out to him.

"Are you looking for Ms. Barbie?"

Tai turn as saw it was a lady next door to the office.

"Um yeah I am, did she came in?"

"She on break right now at the lunchroom, I can show you"

She said as she closed her door.

"Come on follow me"

Tai smiled in relief as he followed her.

"Those are nice flowers, are those for her?"

"Yeah they are"

"You know she's engage right?"

Tai chuckled softly.

"Yeah she's engage to me"

The lady stop and looked to Tai in shock.

"Oh you're the lucky guy who swoop her off her feet"

She said with a laugh. Tai smiled. They soon came to a stop.

"She's in there"

Tai nodded.

"Thank you"

"Anytime"

She said walking away. Tai looked to the lunchroom as he entered the cafeteria and smiled softly as he saw Gloria seating at a table by herself pushed her food around with a fork. Tai walked up to her and sat down in front of her setting the flowers down on the table. Gloria was surprise at the flowers and looked to see Tai.

"What are you doing here?"

She asked quietly as her eyes began to shine with unshed tears.

"You left your engagement ring, are you leaving me?"

He asked sadly. Gloria looked away as she looked down at the table.

"Tai, I don't know what to think right now and you shouldn't be here. You can get me into trouble"

"I don't care, we need to talk about this. Please, at least tell me where you are staying at"

"At a hotel"

"Come home, please"

Gloria shook her head as she began to stand up.

"I can't Tai I'm sorry but I don't want to help raise a child that I didn't bring into this world with you"

She stated firmly as she wipe away her tears that fell.

"I have to go"

She said walking past him but Tai quickly grabbed her hand. Gloria froze in place as her eyes remain down. Tai had his head down until his hair covered his eyes.

"So that promise you made to me, doesn't mean anything to you anymore?"

Flashback

"...I would not leave your side no matter what happens"

"Promise?"

He asked hopefully. Gloria smiled brightly at him.

"This is a promise that I know I will keep"

End of Flashbacks

Gloria froze as she remembered her words.

"But if that was a empty promise then you got me good. Action speaks louder than words right? Here you are avoiding the situation instead of helping..."

Gloria shut her eyes as she turn to face Tai and pulled his hand for to make him turn to face her.

"Then what's my role in this, huh?"

She asked sternly. Tai remained quiet.

"I made that promise because I love you"

"Don't you still love me?"

He asked. Gloria looked down as their hands were still intertwined together and then looked up to face Tai.

"Of course I do"

"Then don't leave me, please come home"

Gloria remained quiet. Tai saw her hesitation and continued

"Your role is to be standing by my side as my fiance"

At those words, Gloria blushed. Tai smiled at the blush and took out the engagement ring from his pocket and lift up her hand and began to place the ring on her finger, but she pulled her hand away.

"I don't want it"
