Donna Lee, Gerard's mum committed suicide when he was 15 because of Gerard, she didn't want him simple as, he was a mistake and she couldn't take looking after him anymore, along with her little hobby, drugs. Also her alcohol addiction and extreme depression. Plus she had no job due to how she was caught doing cocaine in the bathroom at work.

His Dad was also a drug addict, abused Donna and tried to kill Gerard multiple times for the same reason Donna killed herself. Gerard had never had anyone who loved him, his parents never wanted him yet they still tortured him, by not giving Gerard a better home. He was always confused as to why they never gave him away, they had every reason to: they hated him, didn't want him nor need him, he got on their nerves etc. He was just there. His dad would occasionally use him as a punch bag when he had a bad day, if he got in his way or even if he just felt like it, his mum got him addicted to nicotine at 13 because the bitch wanted to see how he would react! Gerards brother Mikey also hated him although he too was never loved by their parents he blamed Everything on Gerard, the way their parents acted, the way he himself acted, the way he was treated for you see one of the MAIN reasons his parents hated Gerard was because... He was gay his parents were HUGE homophobic assholes therefore they thought of it as a disease and Mikey had caught that fucked up disease Gerard had gained.

He never went to school in Jersey, Because of this Gerard had no Friends his parents didn't care to give him an education so he spent 24/7 in the only place he had ever felt safe, The Belleville comic book store, he went there to get away from his wretched house hold so that was most of the time, he didn't socialize with the people there though because well, people. Ew. So he wasn't sure how his so called"family" thought he'd caught the disease called being GAY!But after about a year Gerard got kicked out because he could never afford to buy anything there. After he got kicked out he never went back to his so called "parents" house, so he ended up living on the streets, of course they didn't try looking for him because why in the hell would they, because he was too young to get a job at the time, he couldn't afford food he became extremely skinny, eventually he spent so much time alone he started doing different drugs just out of boredom, and eating out of bins behind old hotels like a rat!

Eventually he got used to his shitty life he was okay with lbing on the streets, he was okay with eating out of bins behind buildings, he was okay with selling himself for drugs... Oh yeah, because he didn't have money he couldn't buy the drugs so he did little deeds; he would occasionally sell the drugs, sell himself it was normal for him.
He had been living on the streets for about 5 years now he only knew because his dealer actually crept up with the world,
Gerard was getting sick of his dealer, he was a lousy dealer, his name way Bob Gerard thought. All though he had, had him as a dealer since he left his home 5 years ago he never really cared, anyway he wanted to get rid of Bob, Bob had almost gotten them caught multiple times it was getting tiering.
