OMG even I'm tired of malakai-

Hendrix stepped forward, mouth open to speak when a creak sounded behind us, making us all turn to see Kie'a sitting up. "V? W-water?" The lightness in her voice stilled something in my heart as I watched Vera jump into action. It was strange to hear such a feminine tone when we had been speaking to her from behind a very masculine voice modifier.

"Of course. here, Kie'a, sit up." Veras voice was soft as I watched her purposefully blowing her breath lightly out into Kie'a's face as the leader sat up- eyes frantic. Kie'a's eyes widened in a second as she made eye contact with Vera.

She flung into a sitting position, Veras hand now on her shoulder. "Kie'a, you need to stay calm." Vera blew once more. Kie'a's hand flung out and covered Veras mouth. Her eyes now once more in panic, her gaze locked on her own hand on vera's mouth. "No." There was a certain amount of feral rage in her eyes that built with every passing second that we remained frozen looking at one another.

She was on the edge of panic and attack, that was clear. She looks at us shocked and jumps out of bed, and her body jolts to the side with a hiss of pain from her lips. "Careful!" Zed and Vera say together. Zed starts to walk closer to her, she flinches back from him, falling over in the process. "Sorry Kie'a, here." His voice was soft, and I could tell he was trying to deflect her panic as he reached, taking the water from Veras hand as he handed the glass to her.

She reached for it with unsteady hands. Zed was careful to avoid touching her- something I'm sure she appreciated as the panic dulled slightly in her eyes. "Thank you-." She mumbled, staring at the glass the glass with a furrowed brow. She removed her hand from Veras slowly, glaring the women next to her down playfully.

"V brought in the water." Hendrix huffed, his hand gesturing to the glass pitcher on the bedside. "The only one here who could even try to poison Kie'a's water is me, thank you." Vera joked in play- her voice less playful and more on edge as Kie'a looked over to Vera with sad eyes. Kie'a slowly brought the glass to her mouth as she looked at Vera with a pained expression. "I guess I can say I know now why you never paid for extra services-." Vera smiled.

Kie'a ended up coughing and spewing out her water onto her lap. "Vera!" Kie'a wailed out- her facer reddening, making Vera laugh a bit. "What! I mean- I get it now! I was betting that, or you were homosexual!" Veras hands go up and I watch Kie'a soften her pained expression as a smile crept over her features.

It displayed her freckled face, her dimples now noticeable as she placed the water back on the side table, swinging her legs around. "Vera, I-." Kie'a threw her arms around the other women, and we all watched out in confusion at the sudden comforting aura around us. Kie'a whispered something to Vera that made the women mumble an apology out.

"But would someone explain why you three are here, and Lexalore is not?" Kie'a brought a fist to her mouth as she coughed up a bit. I removed myself from the wall as I walked towards her. "I did not mean to dishonor you by reviling you like I did. I promise I only meant to release the air lock on your helmet." I quickly add with a bow in her direction, feeling it must be the respectful thing to do as I look to the floor.
