As every minute passed by, Yuri couldn't help but think about the boy beside him, Victor. He didn't know why, perhaps it was because several minutes ago he had been caught "crying" in the bathroom.
Yuri couldn't get a good look at him that time, but now that he was placed at his side, he didn't hesitate to glance at him and when he did, Yuri gasped inaudibly.
Long platinum hair, blue piercing eyes, a permanent blush staining the tip on his nose, thin pink lips, and smooth clear skin.
'He's so perfect.' Yuri admitted, he was envious. Envious at the fact that he couldn't look like that, that he was the complete opposite of that boy. He felt his hands clench at the thought.
Despite feeling envy and anger, he still managed to blush and proceeded to quickly look away to continue doing the task assigned by the teacher.
After a bit, his class was finally over. Gathering his stuff he couldn't help but catch in the corner of his eye that someone was staring at him.Checking, he saw it was Viktor.
Quickly averting his eyes else where and trying his best to ignore the annoying blush on his cheeks, he gathered all his stuff and shoved them into his bag.
"Tch." Victor scoffed.

'Yay, lunch!' He thought sarcastically, the boy wasn't excited at all.
Being Yuri sucks because, 1. You're constantly overwhelmed , and 2. You have anxiety and depression.
So with one huff, he pushed open the cafeteria doors and (ignoring the curious stares) made his way to a vacant table situated at the back of the room.
He was silently using his phone when he felt a presence in front of him. Yuri slowly looked up to see-
"Oh my God! I didn't know you went to this school, you should've told me yesterday!" The blonde headed girl exclaimed.
The boy just mindlessly blinked and stared at her for a few seconds before he realized who she was, "O-oh, Irina was it? I know you didn't tell me your name but I saw it on your uniform badge so please don't think I'm weird— ".
"Hold your horses, I don't think you're weird! Anyways what's your name?"
"It's Yuri, Yuri Katsuki," he smiled warmly. The boy was very thankful that after he said his name she began a new topic since he didn't really have conversation skills.
Irina was rambling on about her other friends and had just given her number to Yuri so they could hang out sometime when the cafeteria suddenly grew quiet.
Glancing around, he found the cause of this. It was a group of boys and one girl. One of which were Victor.
"Damn aren't they delicious," Irina dreamily said at which Yuri just blushed at.
The group made their way to the table located at the center of the room and the moment they sat down, conversation finally continued.
Yuri was very curious about this since at his previous school nobody really seemed to care about popularity except maybe the occasional athlete crushes that girls would completely fawn over.
"... So who are they?"
"Who— Who are they? You don't know?! I mean you are a new student so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt," taking a quick bite out of her burger she continued.
"Well hun, you see the blondie is Yuri (ironic I know) he's kinda mean so make sure you do not run into him, the guy next to him with an undercut is his bestie, Otabek. The Korean is Seung-gil he's really quiet and, honestly, I don't know much about him. Lastly, the sexiest mother fucker, Victor. I heard he's really cold and like only ever smiles when he's around his friends." She finished.
"Why are they so popular? And w-who's the girl?" Yuri nervously asked.
Irina suddenly turned grim looking as she glared at the boy in front of her. "I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have asked, I'm g-gonna leave—"
He abruptly stood up, a thin coat of sweat forming on his forehead, and started gathering his things. Just as he was about to leave, Yuri felt her grab his sleeve.
"Wait! That was really rude I'm sorry. The reason I looked pissed or mad was— er... are you homophobic?" Irina questioned.
"No! Of course not!" The boy didn't quite trust the girl yet so he decided to keep his sexuality a secret for now.
Glancing around, "Well... she's my ex," when she saw no look of disgust from Yuri, just an understanding nod, she continued "The ending of our relationship was bad, like I mean bad bad. I didn't do anything to Sofia, she's the one who decided it was ok for her to cheat. And to top it all off, she cheated on me with the school's fuck boy! What the fuck!"
By the time she finished, Irina was panting with rage. He looked at her with sadness knowing that his newfound friend didn't deserve any of that.
Giving her words of comfort, Yuri just watched her tiredly eat her food. The moment she was finished, they made their way to the exit when suddenly Yuri felt someone hit his side.
"Watch where your going next time! Stupid freak!" The blonde exclaimed, obviously infuriated.
Irina was just gawking at the two in shock. The boy felt tears stinging at the back of his eyes, and although Yuri knew that it was the other's fault for bumping into him, he still apologized.
"I swear to god, if you do it one more fucking time... you're not gonna like what's gonna happen." Plisetsky smirked evilly.
The whole time this was happening, the man with piercing blue eyes never once left his gaze on the small fragile looking boy.

Fanfic"Mom, how much longer?" He whispered. "A little more now keep quiet." Yuri sighed at the response. The boy knew as of now she wasn't fond of him, not after what had happened. Finally, they were boarding the plane. 'Here's to a new life.' He thoug...
