TWENTY-ONE

Jin's POV

Minhyun has told me where I should go. Now I regret hating her. I regret those bad judgements I did.

All I was thinking was her. And our  baby that musn't have died if I were strong.

I arrived at the place and it was near the river. She was seated at the bench.

Jin: Nan Hee.

She turned around and saw me. Her tears fell from her eyes. I sat beside her.

Jin: Minhyun told me everything.

Nan Hee: Those were the things you should have known.

Jin: But I was immature.

Nan Hee: And insensitive.

Jin: But why did ypu have to leave us.

Nan Hee: Seeing you just gives me pain.

Jin: I should have known.

Nan Hee: When I saw your grandmother, I was anxious. I was scared and all those memories came back. It was all your grandmother's fault if we'd say. But no. It was your fault. You're a coward.

Jin: That's why I'm here. I'm here for you.

Nan Hee: Will you give me time to think? I've had enough, Jin. Just give me space for now.

Jin: Fine. But i want your decision tomorrow. Come here at 10am. If you don't come, I'll stop.

She just stared at me and I left her sitting at the bench. I am really hoping that she'll be mine again.

Nan Hee's POV

Jin came and he said he knew everything. My secrets that were kept years ago were finally exposed. But I don't know why I still feel empty.

I was at the house where I used to live for 3 months. I just want sometime to be alone and a time to think.

My phone beeped and I saw a notification. It was a message from Minhyun.

"Nan Hee, I'll be at Incheon airport tomorrow morning at 10. If you love me, please come. If you don't then I'll grab my study grant at Milan."

I had no tears left.

I got another message from Minhyun.

"Until the world stops turning, until the stars fade from the sky, I would still love you."

A new day came. Which means I have to decide. Will it be okay to lose Minhyun for Jin? Or will it be okay to lose Jin for Minhyun?

I was confused. There were no thoughts that enter my mind.

A photo from my bag fell. And it brought me into tears. Right there at that moment I became sure of who my hearts longs for.

This time, everything would be worth it. I was holding the photo with my phone. Also, I was crying as I went to the riverside.

Nan Hee: Jin..

He was seated at the spot where I sat yesterday. He stood up, ran towards me and gave me a hug.

Nan Hee: Jin.

I heard him sniffing.

Nan Hee: I'm sorry.

Nan Hee: I came here to say good bye.

I broke free from the hug and he smiled.

Jin: I know.

Nan Hee: I was lost when I lost you and our baby. But Minhyun found me. He gave me life.
