Minhyun's POV

Nan Hee stayed at my house to take care of me. Unlike before, I'd caught her at times staring blankly at nothing. She lost her smile again.

And now I'm up to the point that I'm asking myself. Does she really love me?

I was beside her on my bed and I was just staring at her until she wakes up.

Minhyun: I feel sad seeing you like this.

Nan Hee: Are you tired of me?

Minhyun: Never in a hundred or even a million years.

She was again crying. I wiped of each tears that fall.

Minhyun: Remember what I told ypu before?

Nan Hee: What was it?

Minhyun: If you take my hand, if you embrace me, all our fears will be gone in this cruel world.

Nan Hee: Do you regret being with me?

Minhyun: No. Because even if we'd live again, I'll always choose you.

She hugged me tight and sobbed. I told myself that I cannot lose this girl.

She spent the night at my house. And yes, it happened. I felt her warmth and she was filled with emotions. I never asked for it. It so happened that we were at the height of our emotions. I know that was scared of what happened in the past.

Though it happened even before we got married, my respect for her is same as before. Nan Hee's body was just against mine though she's quiet and she fell asleep.

My wounds needed cleaning so I got up for a while to change gauze. I wore boxers and sat at the edge of the bed ans spent time looking ate her.

Nan Hee's POV

Minhyun: Nan Hee?

Nan Hee: Hm?

Minhyun: Wake up. It's 6 am already.

I sat up straight and covered my naked body with Minhyun's blanket. His smell was still on it.

Minhyun: I saw everything last night.

Nan Hee: That's why I feel ashamed.

Minhyun: Don't worry. To me you are perfect.

I thing I was getting addicted to his scent. I kept on hugging him since last night.

Minhyun: I love you.

He kissed my shoulders and up again to my lips.

Minhyun: Get dressed so you can still take a bath at your house.

Minhyun has proceeded to his duty. But I went to the hospital director to file a short leave. I just have to find myself and rethink everything. I was allowed to have a leave since they've hired an intern OB.

I went to Miran's room to visit her. She was delighted to see me. I sat at the chair beside her bed.

Miran: Dr. Noh, I'm happy that you came here.

Nan Hee: How are you?

Miran: I feel empty.

Nan Hee: Because a part of you will always be missing.

Miran: Sorry for what my ex did.

Nan Hee: It's okay. Atleast he never got to hurt you.

Miran: How's Dr. Hwang?

Nan Hee: He's at work. The cut wasn't too deep.

Miran: That's a relief. And oh, Dr. Noh. I noticed you aren't wearing your lab gown.
