16. Keith x Reader (I could never Forget you❤️) x Reader (Part 1)

Hey everyone I'm sorry I haven't written anything in a long while I have been so busy for so long but this was a request from @scarletheartcrimson This is my first ever request so im excited to do it so I hope you enjoy!!

*The Past* Third Pov

"Come on Keith lets go lets go" the young girl pulls her best friend up the ladder into there tree house. "ok calm down Y/n I'm coming" currently both children were only ten years old they have been bestfriends since they were baby's not ever leaving each others side. The young girl walks back and forth with a stick patting it in her hand "ok we need to come up with an idea on how to make my parents let us have ice cream for dinner" the boy nods and taps his chin. They sat up in the tree house for hours almost everyday, today they both played a lot and were very tired so they fell asleep next to each other on the floor in the treehouse.

*5 years later" Y/n Pov

He's been missing for months I thought to myself as I sat alone at lunch and sketched in my notepad. Nobody ever talks to me and the bullying has gotten worse I've been failing my classes all because of him he left me alone he promised me he wouldn't leave me and he did. About a year ago my parents got in a car accident and died so Keith was the only person I had left he promised me he would stick by my side just like always but then he disappeared. Nobody knows what happened to him he just left but I know he wouldn't have just left without telling me I know that for a fact. While I was thinking to myself I felt a presence near me and I looked up from my note pad to see one of my bullies "Hey loser" I just roll my eyes getting my stuff together and trying to leave. The bully gets up and slaps my stuff to the floor "don't just leave I didn't give you permission" i still didn't answer picking up my items "Ya know Y/n you look a little thirsty" the bully grabs a cup of water off a table and pours it all over me. A few kids around me laugh pointing tears come to the brim of my eyes as I just grab my soaked stuff and leave. At this point I realize that ill just have to not lose hope that Keith will come home and I know he will I just cant give up.

*Three Years later* Keith's Pov

It has been 8 years since I have last seen Y/n I think about her almost every day her smile, her laugh, her determination just everything about her she was one of the only people I was close to and I promised I would never leave her and I left. Today we had a mission and Allura told us to collect this one gold crystal from the ship. At first I didn't want to collect it in case something happened but we got ahold of it and brought it back to the ship. I walked through the door to see everyone sitting in the living room "Thank the lord Keith you take forever" Lance scoffed at me. I rolled my eyes towards him "Shut up " he stood up "Wanna go mullet" before I could respond Allura coughed "stop it you two this is important'! We both shut our mouths listening to Allura i stood against the wall waiting for her to talk about her "Important thing".

Allura stares at all of us "As you all know on your mission I made you collect this yellow crystal and I did that for a reason you see this crystal can make any wish come true but one wish for every person''. None of us speak were all dead silent I immediately think about Y/n I can wish to see her again! Allura smiles "Who wants to go first" everyone gets excited raising there hands I wanted to as well but ill wait till last. Everyone makes there wishes nothing big just small wishes "Keith it's your turn" I nod and walk up to the crystal saying my wish "I wish for Y/n to come to me please" everyone looks at me surprised wondering who I guess Y/n is. I turn and walk back towards my spot Allura smiles "Ok it might take a while to happen but your wish will come true just be patient" Everyone nods and I turn to go back into my room heading straight to bed whispering to myself "I will see you again Y/n" then I drift off to sleep"

*Y/n's Pov*

I open my eyes "Todays the day" its been 8 years since I've seen Keith well I have found stuff out. Recently I heard some of the soldiers saying that they were lost on space well I'm taking my chances and I'm going tonight to steal a ship and go find my best friend. I hop out of bed and start to pack excited and full of determination. "I just hope I can find him" I whisper to myself.

*Night time*

I throw my bag over my shoulder tip toeing inside the garrison making sure not to be seen. I walk past the dorms and into the main ship area I get into one of the shuttles when I hear alarms going off. I see students start to pile in along with generals I fly off before I could even get captured. I sat in the shuttle flying off into a random direction thinking eventually ill find Keith.

*three day skip*

Its been three days and I'm low on oxygen i haven't seen any sign of life and no sign of Keith but I'm not gonna give up hope ill find him or is that just me telling myself that? after a few more hours I start to feel light headed and claustrophobic my eyes start to close and before I do I see a giant ship and it's the last thing I see before I pass out.
