ERIC [ HOST ]: Good evening everyone and welcome to Produce 42! Tonight, the 9 groups of trainees have been tasked with the position evaluation, and tonight they'll perform for your votes! Are there any trainees or groups you're particularly excited for?

ERIC [ HOST ]: Well, let's welcome the first group on stage!
[ 5 trainees walk onto stage ]
EVERYBODY TEAM: Hello we are Kings! Ruling over everyone's hearts!
ERIC [ HOST ]: You're performing a song by Produce 42's dance mentor and a well-known dance genius, Taemin. How do you feel?
BAE WOOJIN [ 30 ]: Our group has worked very hard and without a doubt, our performance will be memorable and I'm proud of us no matter our placement!
HOW DID THE PRACTICE OF KINGS GO?
[ a mentor walks into the kings' practice room ]
TAEMIN [ D. MENTOR ]: Good morning guys! I feel honoured that you've chosen Everybody for this evaluation, and as one of the original performers, I will be mentoring your group! Anyways, let's see where your group is at currently.
[ the trainees perform, but their movements gradually get weaker and sloppier throughout the song ]
TAEMIN [ D. MENTOR ]: Stop. To begin with, this dance is difficult as it is aerobically demanding. However, I know your group can do it! /writes instructions on a sheet of paper/ Here, they're some cardio exercises, to perform a performance of such intensity, I think it'd be the best option to do the exercises whenever you're free. Let's start with a few right now, first suicides.
