THE FINALE HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN !

ERIC [ HOST ]: Good evening everyone, I am your producer representative, Eric Nam. Tonight marks the end of the Produce 42 journey. We started with 42 trainees, but only the strongest 18 have remained. And by the end of the night, we'll learn who makes the final nine member group.

ERIC [ HOST ]: These trainees have worked hard and endured, and fortunately overcame, many struggles each week in order to prove themselves worthy of your votes.

ERIC [ HOST ]: They have been given their final mission, the debut evaluation. It is their most difficult mission as it combines all the learning material from the previous evaluations. They've practiced well and hope to leave an impressive final mark.

ERIC [ HOST ]: But before the boys perform what they've prepared for this mission, they will be joined with the eliminated trainees in performing the song that started it all.
