Eleven
The next week I immersed myself in work. Making sure that I was giving the twins a good first week that would make them want to stay with me as their coach. I had already started reading and watching all types of videos about diving to help educate me.
I even set up a few calls with my old coach for some advice.
Tina had found out that I went to watch football with Theo. She seemed to rest assured that it was a date, but we were only friends and I actually was only there because I had a ticket.
Speaking of Theo, he had become very busy at his restaurant since people started to go there after learning more about him, being the ex-football superstar. He has the exposure now thanks to that game.
I had just finished training for the day to find poor Ryan babysitting Dillon. Ryan was trying to get work done but the little guy had other plans for him as he was scribbling over Ryan's neat paperwork.
I walked inside and picked up Dillon and rested him on my hip. Ryan looked up at me "wow, I don't think I've ever been so happy to see you" he said, complete relief showing in his eyes. Can't say working all day with a toddler is much fun.
Dillon found my braids very interesting as he grabbed them.
"How long until he goes back to his dad?" I asked him as I sat down on one of the chairs.
"Maybe an hour" he comments, cleaning up his desk.
Ryan normally has his office so clean and organised but today just wasn't his day and part of that is at the hands of this little guy.
But you can't exactly blame a baby.
I decided to take Dillon for another hour letting him play with some toys that were in his little bag as Ryan got a good hour of work done.
When an hour rolled by, I followed Dillon as he waddled over to the office
"daddddddy" he screamed running into the room. Theo turned and picked him up swinging him into the air before dropping him back down to rest on his hip.
I watched as Theo tickled Dillon causing him to scream even louder.
My eyes soon enough moved onto Theo as I realised, he was shirtless, with his t-shirt slung over a chair.
The shorts he was wearing, and the shoes told me he was just out with the guys from football.
I slowly turned around and left the room not wanting to be caught staring at him like that.
I went to my office and busied myself with some folder organising. I feel like this will keep me occupied before I have to leave later.
I was just going to stand up and get ready to leave but two very handsome faces poked their heads into my office.
"were going to get some drinks Elle, are you coming" Ryan asked me.
"pleaaaase come Elle" I heard Tina say in the back well she more like screamed.
I carefully looked at Theo trying to gauge his reaction. I was slightly surprised to see him smiling at me. I watched his lips move. "Come on," he mouthed to me.
I was just about to give in and go but when I saw the glare that Michelle was giving me from behind them, I thought better not. I'm not in the mood for any drama tonight. I just wanted to go to the gym and grab groceries for tonight.
I shook my head, I tried not to think too much about the look Theo sent me, but I knew It was better if I sat this one out.
"not tonight guys I've got plans" I said, coming up with some lame excuse that I could think of with such limited time.
