I haven't seen Jaren in weeks. I have talked to Smitty but he won't let me know who he actually is. He gave me a number though so that's cool. I look at our last texts.
K: Hey dude it's Kryoz
S: heyyy
It ended there which was very awkward. I didn't know what to say back so I said nothing. I look in the mirror. Why is my face all red? Why does my stomach feel weird. Maybe I'm sick, I should take school off. I look at my phone, once again seeing the text. Nevermind...
K: Hey you wanna go eat ice cream later?

I make my way to school, unable to find the keys to my car. Evan and Jonathan join me on the walk when I walked past their houses. In front of me I see a boy. "Hey it's Jaren!"
"What was that dude?" Asks Tyler walking up. Damn how many of my friends are walking today? "Oh just someone I know.." I say. Evan runs up to Jaren. I run quickly behind him. "Hey, you're Jaren right?" Asks Evan. "Oh I um" Jaren replies silently. "Any friend of John's is a friend of mine!" Evan says with a smile, not even giving the boy a chance to answer. "I-I'm not sure your girlfriend would want me being around y-you" says Jaren truthfully. I mean he isn't wrong, she always pounds on the poor boy. "We broke up a while ago." Evan answers. "What, when!" I say shocked. "Uh about a week ago, I realized she wasn't the best person for me" Evan gives a slight glance over to Jonathan. Jon smiles at him. Somethings is totally going on between them. "Come on you're hanging out with us now" Evan puts an arm around Jaren. Finally we make it to the hellhole called school.
