John's POV
We run down the street toward my car. I hop in the front seat and he gets in the passenger. "I can't believe we just did that," Jaren says laughing, "They were so mad!" We continue laughing as I drive us to Jaren's house. I stop the car right in front of Jaren's house. "That was so much fun!" He says unbuckling his seatbelt. "Shall we do this again sometime?" I ask him with a smile. "Of course." He says opening the car door and stepping out. I role down the window and he leans on the door. "John.. would you be my b-" Jaren starts. "Jaren! Is that you? Hunny your guinea pigs got out again and I can't find them!" Jaren's mom yells out the front door. Jaren laughs and looks at the door. "Coming mom! Just keep the door closed until I come!" He yells back to his mom. "I've gotta go, emergency guinea pig business." He says. "You need some help with catching them?"
I ask him. "You willing to help?" He asks me. I turn the car off and hop out of the car. We walk down the path and up to the door. He opens it and immediately a guinea pig rushes toward the door. I hold my hands out and catch the little guy. I look over to Jaren to see he has one in his hands already. We walk over to the cage and slip them in. I see one more hiding underneath the couch. I reach my hand under but I can't reach it. "Come here Buttercup." Jaren calls the creature. It runs out of the couch and to Jaren. Jaren puts Buttercup into the cage. Jaren locks the cage door. I give Jaren one last goodbye before walking out the door to my car. I hop in my car and turn it back on. Jaren waves as I pull out of his driveway. I smile all the way to my house.
