Harry's POV

I watched as my parents slowly began to fawn over my brother. First it started with giving him more attention and love. Then they began to forget to set me a plate at dinner. But the final straw was when they forgot they had an elder son. It wasn't physical abuse but it hurt just as much.

Third Person POV

Harry sat in the library at Potter Manor. Very few knew of its existence as it held many books on the Dark Arts, which was a rarely-spoken subject in Light families. Surrounded by books, Harry quickly absorbed information on Pureblood customs. Spells (both dark and light) were his natural ability.

Reading was the only thing to do if he didn't want to see his idiotic brother. It was the only thing to do when you want to forget about the people who forgot you. The only thing to do when you want to forget about forgotten existence. The only thing to do when you don't want to do something foolish. Every time he thought of his so called 'family', his heart begins to hurt and his gut clenched. "How could they forget their firstborn child for fame" Harry kept thinking. He couldn't cry. He would never give them the satisfaction of seeing his tears.

CRACK!

Flopsy, Harry's personal house elf appeared  and bowed low in front of him. His parents had assigned her to take care of him as they were both busy with their 'precious little saviour'. "Master Harry, I is making your dinner and I is seeing your Hogwarts letter. Master Lily and Master James were most confused."

"Thanks Flopsy, please bring me my Hogwarts letter and you may take your leave." Flopsy bowed once more and with another CRACK! she was gone. An envelope floated down and Harry carefully unfolded it. Skimming through its contents, he smirked. He then apparated to the living room where his family were having dinner.

Two faces stared back at his.

Both seemed to have no memory of their eldest son.

So how was that? I was a bit gutted that no one has seen my story yet but I did just publish it so I'm not that upset. If anyone's reading this then please share the story with other people. Thank you and please know that this means a lot to me :3
