Hiccup and Astrid walk into tent. Hiccup being... well, Hiccup, doesn't say anything. "Hiccup..." says says softly. Hiccup doesn't look at her.
"Hiccup..." she says again with more force.
"You don't have to say anything. I already feel awful." He says not looking at her once and pulling the furs over him and laying down, not facing her.
"Hiccup, you don't understand!"
"I understand everything except why you would say that about me. What did I ever do to you?"
"Hiccup..."
"Don't bother, Astrid. I've heard enough of what bad things you've said about me. I don't need to hear it again."
He lays down and turns so his back is facing her.
Plan failed. Astrid lays down and faces away from him.
She really hurt him. Usually, the twins would make fun of him and he would be fine the next day.
But he likes you. said a voice in her head.
But I hurt him. Says Astrid in her head.
Astrid will be shut out... again.
He will never listen to her.
I hurt him.
I hurt Hiccup...
I love Hiccup.
All these thoughts run through her head as sleep soon finds her.

Astrid wakes up and she realizes something.
She slept with Hiccup.
She has his arms around her and her head is resting on his chest. She quickly gets out of his grasp and stands up quickly but realizes that she is in a tent and hits her head on the top. She ducks out and finds Ruffnut sitting by a fire.
She walks over still surprised by how she woke up.
'Ruffnut can't know.' Thought Astrid
Astrid sits by her and Ruffnut looks at her funny.
"What happened last night?"
"He didn't listen."
"Oh. Shucks."
"So now what?"
"Well... um... we have to find out a way for him to listen and it isn't going to be easy."
"No kidding."
