Author's Note: This is a flashback to when Zoey and Roger were dating!!! Not current day!

“Come on Zoey, What, are you afraid?” Roger raised his eyebrows at me.

“No, I just don’t enjoy getting drunk then telling secrets. I personally think it’s a bad combination.” I smiled to Bethany next to me.

“You’re bluffing….Zoey, you’re just scared.” Roger smirked from his seat at the table.

I clenched my fists and replied, “I’m not scared, I’m just not stupid.”

Roger turned and laughed to his friends. Fed up with his jackass behavior I sat down, “Fine, game on.”

Scattered across the table were shot glasses, some filled with tequila, others with vodka. Roger sat across from me, both hands on the table. People had begun to surround us. I’m not surprised, Queen Bee Zoey vs. Bad Boy Roger, what a game this’ll be.

“Ten minutes on the clock. I’ll start.” He set up the timer on his smartphone, and my heart started pounding. Time slowed down as he pressed start. “Go. I’ll start easy on you Zoey. Have you ever hooked up with a student teacher?”

Damn you Roger. He knew the answer. I took my shot and slammed the glass down on the table. “Have you ever had a girlfriend?” I asked him.

“No.” I wanted to call his bluff, but I honestly didn’t know the answer. So far he hasn’t drunk anything yet, and I do not want to be the only drunk one by the end of this game.

He waited a second for my response, smiled then asked, “Are you a virgin?”

“Yes.” I replied without batting an eye lash.

“Bullshit.” Groaning at his response I grabbed another shot and downed it.

“Are you a virgin.” I asked him back, knowing the answer already.

Laughing he took a shot. When he was done he asked, “Do you like being in a relationship with Cody?”

Shit. Cody was my current boyfriend and he was sitting right next to my chair. Please, please don’t call my bluff. I took a shot.

“Bullshit.” Fuck you Roger. I met Cody’s eyes and mentally apologized. I downed my second shot. Cody stood up, gave me a disgusted look, then left.

“Cody!” I called out and stood up to run after him. One of the guys pushed me back into my chair. “This game isn’t over yet.” Roger smirked. Okay, NOW it’s personal.

“Fine.” I thought for a second then asked, “Is it your fault your dad left?”

“No.”

“Bull. Shit.” I called him out. His eyes got a dangerous look in them as he took his shot. He set down the glass so hard that it shattered. The crowd that had formed around us went deathly silent.

“Do you have feelings for me?” Roger asked, no longer smiling.

Hell yeah, strong feelings of hatred. “No.” I said out loud.

“Bullshit.”

“The only feelings I have for you are the ones to put you six feet under.”

“Still feelings. Drink up Zoey.” Hesitantly I took another shot.

“Have you ever drugged a girl?”

Roger took a shot and suddenly I didn’t feel to well. Thankfully, the timer went off just then and I stood up a little shakily, I did have a lot to drink. Roger stood up too, clearly still pissed at me. He turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Bethany came over towards me, “Hey, let’s go find Cody.”

“No, I was going to dump his ass anyway, why not now?”

“Zoey, what’s gotten into you.”

“I’ll be back.” I went off in the direction of the kitchen to find Roger. I saw him getting himself a beer and I approached him. “I’m sorry about the dad question earlier.” I said over the door of the fridge. Roger closed it and looked at me, “Hey, it’s true isn’t it? And, isn’t it your fault that your dad left your mom too?”

I could feel my face turning red. “For your information, my parents are still together.”

“Right! They’re the parents who can’t stop having sex. How many siblings do you have?” Roger was getting so much enjoyment out of making me pissed off.

“Stop talking about my parents.”

“What? Can’t handle a little talk about sex?” Roger leaned in close and whispered in my ear, “You may not be a virgin, but you are one of the biggest prudes I’ve ever met.” I could feel his breath down my neck and it sent shivers down my spine. He turned away and started walking down a hallway towards the living room when I stopped him.

I pushed him against the wall, grabbed his neck and pulled it down to my face. “You think you know all about me, but in reality, you know nothing.”

“I don’t want to know anything.”

“You and I both know that isn’t true.” I trailed a hand down his chest and stopped at his waistband. “But I hate you, and you hate me, so how about you admire me from afar, like everyone else.” I began to walk away, because please, no one gets the last word except me. But stupid Roger had to stop me again, and this time I was the one pushed up against the wall.

“You think you’re such a badass Zoey, but you aren’t. Underneath all that attitude is someone as plain as any other girl in this school.”

“What’s your point Roger?”

His lips came crashing down on mine and at first I tried to fight him off, but after a few seconds I gave in.

He grabbed my legs and picked me up. I wrapped my legs arund his torso as Roger pressed closer to me.

"I don't care, but I know that you have a reputation to maintain, let's take this somewhere else." Roger whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. He carried me into a nearby bedroom and closed the door before dropping me on the bed.

"I'm not doing this with you Roger."

"Why not Zoey. It's not like it's a relationship. If you're going to be a prude I'll just leave and find someone else."

I thought about Tucker dancing with that other girl and I got a renewed burst of energy. I grabbed his neck and kissed him. I pulled back suddenly and said, "This is a one time thing, Roger so don't get too attached."

"You shouldn't worry about me getting attached."

"Good, because we both know bad and badder don't go well together."

"Just shut up and kiss me Zoey."
