Cameron and I stood outside of the club, clueless about what we should do next. It was pretty cold outside, considering it was only the end of March on the East Coast. All I knew was that I was cold, and we had to make a decision rather quickly. Preferably in the next 2 minutes.
"So..." I looked up at Cameron, who was looking off into the distance, admiring all of the buildings in Downtown Boston. We had only been here for less then 2 days and we have barely seen any of the city.
"Now what?" He turned his head to me and smirked, while wiggling his eyebrows. I gave him a warm smile.
"Not sure, what are you in the mood for?" I shivered, as I looked up and down the main drag, trying to see if I could spot anywhere to eat. Me, being the dumb bitch I am, only brought and light jacket since it matched my outfit. I left my winter coat back at the Air bnb.
Cameron must have noticed, because he immediately offered his coat. "Here, take mine. I'm a little hot anyways." At first, I denied his offer and told him I deserve to be cold since I was the idiot to not bring a coat. But, he then gave me a why are you being a dumb bitch, take the fucking coat kind of look, so I happily snatched it out of his hands and put it on.
Lets just say it didn't fit me. At all. It was ten times bigger then I was, but on the brightside, that made me feel ten times warmer.
We stood there for a good 5 minutes, debating on where we should go, since it was almost 1:30 in the morning and we weren't sure what was open.
"You think anywhere with iced coffee is open right now? Oh! Maybe some sushi?" Cameron just gave me the weirdest look and laughed.
"Iced coffee? Right now?" I nodded me head as he laughed it off. "Jay told me about your addiction. Didn't believe it till right about 2o seconds ago."
"Well, you better believe it, because it is very much real. Now call an Uber so I don't freeze."
"Jaren would kill me if I let you freeze, so maybe we should call that Uber." Cameron called an Uber, and in no time, we hopped inside. I was very excited I wasn't going to die of the cold.
Between the 2 of us searching for places that were open on our phones , we found a 24 hour diner not too far from our Air bnb. So, after telling our driver where to go, we were off to find food.
____
"I still cant believe you are drinking Iced Coffee at almost 2 in the morning."
Cameron and I sat in a booth at the back of the diner. There was almost nobody else here, so we had the place to ourselves. I was very much enjoying this adventure with Cameron.
The diner had iced coffee, which I was praising. "You wouldn't believe how much iced coffee I drink just in general and if I told you, you just wouldn't believe it." We laughed as we stuffed our faces full of burgers. Not surprisingly, the diner didn't have sushi.
We talked about random stuff as we finished up our food. By the time we were done fooling around in the diner, and having a good time, it was pushing 4:30.
We thanked the waiter, and decided to walk back to the house since it was only a few blocks away and there was no point in getting an Uber.
"That was fun." I looked up and Cameron, who was surprisingly already looking down at me. "Yeah, we will definitely be doing more Cameron and Charlotte adventures in the next 2 weeks." He stretched out his arms to make a rainbow hand motion.
"Sounds like a great plan." He gave me a smirk as we kept walking to the house.
After a very cold 10 minutes, we made it. We walked inside to find a passed out Mason on the couch, and Eric on the floor laying face down.
"Looks like they are alive and home, no thanks to us." Cameron pointed out as we took our shoes off. I then walked over to Eric and looked down at him. "I'm not even sure if he's alive." I turned to Cameron, who just wheezed. I looked back at Eric, who looked like the saddest looking creature I have ever seen.
I then kicked him. At first, nothing happened. I kicked him again, harder this time. In result, I got a groan out of him. "Well Eric's alive. What about Mason?" Cameron shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the lying figure on the coach. "He looks so pathetic." I chuckled as Cameron just towered over Mason.
"Well see if he's alive." He then slapped Mason very hard on the face. He shot up and gave Cameron the dirtiest look I have ever seen. Mason had a massive five star going across his whole entire face. I was practically doubled over from laughing so hard.
"What the fuck cunt? What was that for?" Cameron held back a laugh. "Didn't know if you were breathing. Well, we got our answer. See you later!" He then abruptly turned around, grabbed my hand, and we ran up the stairs towards our rooms.
"Hopefully he wont remember anything later." He leaned against the wall, as I did the same. "Yeah, lets hope so."
"I hope you know that I had a wonderful time with you tonight Cam." He raised and eyebrow and stared at me. "Cam?" he questioned.
My face went beet red as I struggled for an answer. "I-I don't have to call you that. It just slipped out, I don't know what I was thinking. I'm really sor-"
He then said something I was not expecting, at all. "I like the sound of it when you say it. I like it very much. So for now on, you call me Cam." I let the color return to my face as I calmed down.
"Ok Cam, well I'm going to go to sleep now, and get out of this outfit, so I'm not dead later. I will see you in the afternoon, probably." He nodded his head as I began to open up the door to Jaren and I's room.
"Oh, Charlotte?" I turned back around to face him. I will never get tired of looking at him. "You looked very beautiful tonight." His cheeks were flushed with pink, as were mine. I wasn't expecting that at all.
I then thought about what I was wearing. All I had in was a nice top, some ripped jeans and a pair of boots that had heels on them. I had my hair down with a slight curl in it, and I had on a very plain nude makeup look.
Most definitely didn't look my best since my outfit was rushed after our "executive" decision to go clubbing.
What the hell did he see in me? I returned back to reality with an embarrassing stutter, let me tell you.
"T-thank you." I gripped the door handle, as on the inside, I was freaking out. "You looked really nice as well." I bit my bottom lip and looked up at him. "Thanks." After that, we said a rather quick goodnight to each other and practically ran inside our rooms.
Jaren was sprawled out on the bed, snoring. I smiled to myself as I got changed into a t-shirt and pair of shorts.
Cam was something else.
I crawled into the bed after successfully shoving Jaren over to his side. That must have woken him up, because he just had to start talking.
"Hey, you're back." I rolled over to face him, as he did the same. "Where did you even go?"
"Cameron and I went to grab a bite to eat." I shut my eyes, hoping that would be enough, but of course it wasn't enough. "For 3 hours?" I opened my one eye and stared at him. One of his eyebrows were raised and he had a concerned look on his face. "We got caught up at a diner. It was fun. Now go to sleep."
He sighed as he rolled back over, defeated. "We'll talk in the morning, ok J? Goodnight."
"Goodnight Charlotte." And with that, we both silently fell asleep.
cam and charlotte r going to be having many more adventures, just wait
