How it Began

(Y/N)'s POV

(Back to the time where Ciel summons Sebastian)

It's dark, my arms and legs are tied tightly together. I've ran out of tears to cry and my throat is so dry that my desperate attempts to cry for help are useless.

" Somebody, help me "

... Then this bright light appears. " Fire...." I say in a bare whisper. " It's finally time for me to die, I can now go into endless sleep without those men torturing me for what will feel like eternity". As I was about to fade, I am abruptly awaken by the fire that burns away my restraints, but for some reason, brings no harm to me. I then open my eyes to find a boy with a strange mark in his eye, he then says "It's not your time, nor is it mine come with me and live on!". He reaches his hand out to me and with slight hesitation, I take it. We are then both picked up by some strange man with red eyes. We are then carried to a meadow of some sort. He reaches his hand out to me, "My name is Ciel Phantomhive, we've gone through the same thing so I ask you this, join me on my journey for revenge! We will hunt down everyone who has hurt us and strike them down! what do you say?". His eyes are burning with anger, hate, and the longing for revenge, it's scary, but my fear is blown away by the other emotion I see in his eyes, passion. I take him by the hand, "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), pleasure to meet you! I'd be happy to jump on board!". I will always remember that day, the day where I smiled for the first time in years most likely. I will always remember the thought I had that day, the thought that " I will no longer have to be alone "

(Present day, at Phantomhive Manor)

" * Yawn* What time is it?" I say to no one in particular. " It's 7:30 am Miss. (Y/N)" ....... "GAAAAHHH, MY GOODNESS MEY-RIN DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING" I exclaimed, about to have a literal heart attack. Mey-rin, getting flustered said " I'm sorry Miss, but last time I woke you up, you back hand slapped me as you turned, so I thought it'd be easier if I waited till you woke up on your own". "I don't remember that happening, goodness, now I feel bad..." " Sorry for that, Mey-rin , I didn't mean it. I promise to be more careful from now on.... So what's on the agenda for today?" I asked as she handed me today's clothes, I then undressed myself and started changing. " Ciel has asked you to calculate the funds we'll make for the new candy product coming up" I finished changing and responded with " Alright, that should be easy enough" " He has also asked you to prepare a letter to a man who runs a bakery to see if they'll partner up with our company" "Okay, got it"

You're probably wondering what I do here at Phantomhive manor, let's just say I'm a prodigy to some extent. As Ciel is the face of the Funtom Company, I play what may be considered a secretary or assistant in some ways. Since I was little, I've always been the master at things like brain puzzles and learning different languages. I've also always been good at writing and math. Those things have always come naturally to me. Right now, I've taken interest in archery, it's been really fun! Since Ciel and I work together, we usually get things done pretty fast so we usually have lots of free time, which we use to stroll the markets, play chess, or play in the garden. If not any of those, we are usually planning the next steps for our revenge.

"Oh! I've forgotten! The young master has told me to tell you that he was going to take you out for breakfast today, along with Elizabeth" " How wonderful! Tell him I'll be down momentarily"

Lizzy and I have been friends for quite a while now. Since Ciel's parents are gone, the engagement was broken off because the marriage was only the wish of his parents. Lizzy didn't seem to mind, in fact, that day, she was more concerned as to why I was dressed in what she describes as rags and we've been friends ever since.

As I walk with Mey-rin down the stairwell, admiring the beautiful and familiar scenery around me , I see Sebastian and Ciel, who has a small smile on his mouth, waiting for me.

"Sorry for the wait guys" I say with a smile and a short chuckle. Ciel holds his and out for me, just like that fateful day. " No worries, now, shall we get going?" I take his hand, " Yeah! Let's go!"

Yeah, it all started on that fateful day, that day where a tale of romance would begin....
