Jessie stared at her in awe before scoffing at her mother, hands-on-hips, "Clone? There's no such thing as cloning!"

But Alexis is serious. She stared right back at her daughter, "If people turning into animals can exist, why can't clones?"

She stepped in front of the monitor cautiously, "Delta, bring up a DNA register."

"Yes, master," The computer then reveals a fingerprint-looking button. Jessie presses her thumb into it and waits for a tab to pop up

As it was showing, she clicked on the tab and pulled up her DNA sample. One side was brown while the other side was peach with spots of brown.

"This is your DNA," She turned back around to her daughter, "The brown side is Lizzie's DNA and the peach with brown spots is mine," She scoffed, "You never had a father."

Jessie stepped back, frightened and infuriated, "N-No. This is fake! You photoshopped it!"

She shook her head, "Nope. You can't just 'photoshop' DNA. Wha do you think I am? A biologist?"

Jessie glanced at Micheal, who was too much in a daze to speak, then back to her 'mother'. "Then why does your side have brown spots all over it?"

Alexis sighed, "I guess it's time you knew anyway. I used to be Lizzie's cow when she was younger. That's until her father made me younger and turned me into a human. However, my human form is wearing off after all these years. Lizzie was the solution. With her milk, I could finally figure out a way to be human forever!"

"Then what about me?" She asked, stepping closer to her, "How come I don't have any cow-like features?"

Her mother chuckled, " Oh, you used to have ears and a tail, even a cute bovine face. But I didn't want other people to think you're a freak so, I cut off your tail and used the same chemicals that made me human on you. Somehow they've not worn off in the past two years, which is surprising-"

Jessie's face showed one of great anger. "You what?!" She raised her hand, placing it over her fake mother's neck, "You cut off my tail?!"

Gasping for air, her mother rasped out: "I only did it for you."

"No!" She yelled, tears welling up in her eyes, "You never wanted to do anything for me! You've only done everything for yourself!"

Micheal snapped out of his daze and stepped in, "Jessie, stop! This isn't you!"

Jessie turned around to face him her nose and cheeks red with fury, "She's abused me, mentally and physically! She needs to learn what it's like to feel hurt, broken, manipulated!"

Micheal flattened his ears, trying to make his point, "Okay, let's say she does need to learn. But it shouldn't be from you. If you do this, you're no better than she is."

Jessie looked down at her choking mother and gasped, seeing the damage she'd done and set her free. She stepped off and slouched on the floor. Her tears hit the floor like rain as she sobbed. Micheal went over to comfort her, hugging her tightly as Alexis gets up, dusting herself off.

"You are in so much trouble, young lady!" She pointed her finger at her, steaming, "And if you think for one second that I'm gonna let this go-"

"I never thought you'd let it go," she sniffed, turning back around, "I knew you'd be too selfish to understand. That's why I'm no longer staying here."

Alexis scrunched her face in disgust, "What?"

"I'm not staying," she said, defying the liar she was up against, "if you think that I'm going to stay here after what you've done to me, then you have another thing coming."

Alexis tried to speak, but Jessie got closer to the woman's face and lowered her eyebrows in anger, "You've been nothing but cruel and cold-hearted towards me and Lizzie. You've forced her into selling her milk for your own benefit and I'm sick of it. You won't do this anymore to anybody."

Jessie turned around to Micheal and featured that they should go. He nodded and they both began to walk towards the exit.

"Very well then," Alexis said after a few of their steps, grinning mischievously, "at least take this as a parting gift."

As soon as Jessie turned around, the woman jumped on top of her and pinned her down, holding her arms and sitting on her belly. "You're not getting away that easily."

She then takes a vile and shoves it into Jessie's mouth, making the liquid substance dissolve into her tongue before Micheal could intervene.

"What did you just do?!" Micheal yelled, getting closer.

"Nothing important," she then got up, her face then twisted in anger, "now leave my sight and never return!"

Helping Jessie up, Micheal shot Jessie up and ran. They didn't dare to look back at the darkness that was behind them.

Jessie coughed while they walked down the staircase, "M-Micheal... I need to get my things ready. And I need to warn Lizzie. It's too dangerous to stay."

Micheal nodded and let Jessie up to her room to help pack her things, getting her pillow, a blanket, and a lot of clothing in 2 suitcases.

"Will I be staying with you from now on or will I be on my own?" She asked, very weakly getting the suitcase off of the bed.

He frowned, trying not to think of his friend being tossed outside in the road, shivering in the cold without a friend or family member to rely upon. "Yeah. You'll stay with me."

"Alright."

Jessie finished up her packing and adjusted her book bag on her back, "Come on. Let's leave this God forsaken place."

As they rushed downstairs, Lizzie was still in the kitchen, sipping some coffee. She looked over to see the two of them with all of Jessie's things, "Where are you guys going?"

Jessie exchanged a glance with Micheal and sighed, "Listen, we need to leave... Like, right now."

Lizzie tilted her head, "Why? Is something wrong?"

She took a step forward, "My mom-" she shook her head, "Alexis cloned herself from hers and your DNA-"

Lizzie looked shocked, "Wait a minute, she did what?!"

"I know it's hard to believe," she reassured, "but that clone is me."

Her eyes widened with realization, "Actually, that's not very hard to believe. She never talked about a child when I met her two years ago and she's not the type to go have sex with men."

Jessie placed her fingers in the center of her forehead, frustrated, before Micheal budded in, "Lizzie, we need you to come with us. She's using you for your milk."

"You think I'm not aware of that?" She said in a surprisingly soft tone, "that's one of the reasons I'm helping her. I wanted her to be happy."

"Why would you want somebody who ripped my tail off to be happy?!" Jessie exclaims, clenching her fist. She got closer to Lizzie's snout. "It's your choice: come with us and be safe to do whatever you want, or stay here and have her use you for evil."

Lizzie gulped, looking back up with a confident look, "I guess I'll go with you. But first I have to get a friend of mine. She'll definitely want to come along..."
