Bailey's POV

So much has happened in the past five years. One thing that happened was Simon Cowell signed me to his label. (A/N I know he hasn't but it's a fanfic so yeah) It happened almost a year after bgt.

*flashback*

"Bailey! Someone's on the phone for you!" My mum shouted up the stairs.

I ran downstairs and took the phone off mum.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello, is this Bailey Mcconnell?"

"Yeah. Who is this?"

"I'm Selena from Syco records. I'm just calling to say that Mr Cowell would like to see you in his office tomorrow at 10:30am."

"Okay."

"And we will send you an email confirming the appointment and the address in the next couple of hours."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I put the phone down and went into the kitchen where mum and Sophia were sat at the table drinking coffee.

"Who was it?" Mum asked me.

"Some woman from Syco records saying that Simon wants to see me in his office tomorrow at 10:30."

"Oh my god. Seriously?" Sophia asked me.

"Yeah. She said they're going to send me an email confirming the appointment and the address."

"I'm so proud of you Bailey!" My mum kind of yelled and hugged me.

"That's amazing news babe!" Sophia practically screamed and hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.

*the next day (still in flashback)*

Me and mum got into the car at 9am that morning to make sure that we got there on time. Sophia was staying at home because there wasn't much point in her going.

We got to the office with five minutes to spare. We got out of the car and walked into the building and went straight to reception.

"Bailey Mcconnell, here to see Mr Cowell." My mum said to the receptionist.

The receptionist typed something into her computer and then looked back at us. "Yeah, okay. You need to take the lift up to the top floor, turn left and there should be some seats outside the office."

"Thank you." We both said at the same time.

We walked into the lift and I pressed the button that would take us to the top floor. It was a very high building with twenty floors but luckily it didn't take ages for us to get to the top.

Once we reached the top, we turned left like the receptionist told us to and sat down on some seats outside an office. On the door there was a sign saying 'Mr Simon Cowell - Syco Records."

We waited a couple of minutes and then a woman walked out of the office.

"Mr Cowell will see you now." She told us as she walked away down the corridor.

We stood up and I knocked on the door.

"Come in!" A voice shouted from inside.

We entered the room to see Simon sitting behind a large desk.

"Ah, Bailey. Please, take a seat." He said and gestured to the two seats on the other side of the desk. Me and mum both sat down.

"Are you wondering why I called you here?" He asked me. I nodded.

"Well," he continued, "I made a mistake last year on Britains Got Talent. We should have given you the wildcard. I really regret that mistake now and you probably hate me for it."

"No. It's fine. I don't hate you."

"Well that's good because after much thought and consideration, I have decided that I want to sign you up to my label. What do you say?"

I paused for a few seconds. Not because I didn't know what to say. Because I was in shock that he wanted to sign me up to his label.

I must have been like this for more than a few seconds because mum nudged me and smiled and nodded in Simon's direction. I looked over at Simon to see him smiling at me. "I say yes!" I said and I shook Simon's hand.

"Well that's great news! The bad news is that you're now going to have to sign lots of paperwork in order for this to become official. Do you understand?" I nodded my head in agreement.

Then Simon got up and went over to one of the many filing cabinets in the room. He got out a load of paperwork and returned back to the desk.

"Okay Bailey, I need you to concentrate on this because if you do something wrong then we're going to have to start all over again."

"Okay."

"Now, I need you to read this contract and sign along the dotted line. It's just an agreement on your income and how much percent I get of what you earn."

I read through the agreement very carefully and then signed. I had to do this another fifteen times before we were finally finished.

Once I had signed for the final time I looked up at Simon and smiled and passed the paperwork over to him. He quickly looked through it all and smiled back at me.

"Welcome to Syco Records Bailey." He said and got up to shake my hand.
