*3 months later*

Sophia's POV

I am now six months pregnant and I've got a scan today. Unfortunately Bailey can't come because he's still recording in the studio and he can't get out of it. So I'm going on my own.

*at the hospital*

"Hello Sophia." Claire greeted.

"Hey Claire."

"How've you been?"

"I've been good. Just being careful."

"That's good to know. Now, lets get on with this scan."

I lay down on the chair as Claire put some gel on my stomach. It felt really cold against my bare skin.

As Claire was looking at the screen I noticed her looking confused.

"Is everything alright?" I asked her.

"Yeah. I just need to go and get the doctor to look at something. I'm going to need a second opinion on this."

As Claire walked out of the room, I started to feel scared. What was so important that she had to get the doctor? Was the baby okay? What was going on?

All was just about to be revealed as Claire walked back into the room with who I presumed was the doctor that she went to fetch following behind her.

"Hello Sophia. I'm doctor Radcliffe. I'm just here to confirm what Claire has told me."

"Okay." Was all I could say at that moment. My mouth was to dry and I couldn't speak. Nerves were getting the better of me.

He looked at the screen and turned to Claire and nodded. Then he turned to face me.

"What's going on? Is my baby okay?" I asked all at once.

"Yes Sophia. Your babies are fine."

Did he just say babies? I thought to myself.

"Babies?"

"Yes. You're expecting twins."

"Seriously?!"

"Yeah. Have a look." He said as he turned the screen around to face me. Surely enough, there were two babies there.

"Oh my god." I whispered.

"Congratulations Sophia." Claire smiled at me.

"Thank you." I said to her.

Shortly after, Claire gave me a photo of the scan and I left the hospital. I decided to ring Bailey. It took forever for him to answer but finally he picked up.

"Hey babe." He greeted me from the other end of the phone.

"Hey."

"How did the scan go?"

"Really well. I've got something to tell you."

"What?"

"You'll have to wait."

"Aww, why can't you tell me now?"

"Because it's a surprise. Meet me back at home and I'll tell you."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you to." I ended the call.

I drove back home and got there to find Bailey's car already in the drive way. Bit surprising considering he was supposed to be at the studio.

"Bailey?!" I called out as I slammed the front door shut behind me.

"Hey babe." He said, walking into the hallway and gently kissing me on the lips.

"Hey."

"So what did you want to tell me?"

"I think you'd better be sitting down for this." I said as I took his hand and led him into the living room and sat him down on the sofa.

"Is it about the baby?" He asked.

"Babies."

"Babies?"

"Yeah. We're having twins." I said with a smile on my face.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. Look." I said as I got out the photo of the scan.

"This is amazing. I love you so much."

"I love you too."

We both started to lean in and then we kissed. It wasn't fierce or anything like that. It was gentle. Sweet. Passionate. We both pulled away and stared into each others eyes.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me." He said to me.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me to."

"I love you." We both said at the same time. We kissed again.

He really is the best thing that ever happened to me.
